No evento de abertura da temporada de verão 2021/2022, a prefeitura de Balneário Camboriú entregou a primeira parte da obra de alargamento e apresentou o projeto da segunda parte da obra, que consiste na reurbanização da orla da Praia Central, o projeto prevê novo mobiliário urbano, paisagismo, quiosques, banheiros, ciclovia e novos espaços de lazer.
E tem mais Balneário Camboriú ,pretende replantar a restinga na orla que serão mais de 33 mil mudas de plantas nativas , a expectativa é que a restinga comece a ser replantada após a temporada de verão. A restinga será plantada aproximadamente 30 metros de onde hoje está a calçada da Av. Atlântica, levando em conta o espaço reservado para a obra de reurbanização da orla. Parabéns ao moradores e futuros moradores desta Mega cidade , a prefeitura e empresários da construção civil que não mediram esforços para trazer mais conforto para os catarinenses e turistas que frequentam nossas praias todos os anos .
