Not everyone is "polarized". The majority is observing and respecting facts, science and electoral results. Others are just out of their minds! Also, that bumper sticker should say "one FEWER sprinter". Hate to play the role of grammar police on here, but I've been drinking. Prolly some grammatical errors in this post.

Why would anyone thumbs down these awesome humans who are living life their way, on their terms, they are respectful to everyone and everything including nature, they share a bit of their lives with us under no conditions and no obligations. I have enjoyed their journey from the beginning and look forward to many more years of adventures from them! Love you Elsa, Barron and Kamp 🐾 💕

  • @ginafercho4581

Barron - I agree with you. Everything is so polarized, it is making us more lonely. Instead of being able to share our differences with each other to come to a greater understanding of humanity, it feels people are guarded and angry and become defensive when you question their beliefs. Even if your question is meant in a harmless way to further understand your fellow human. How will people learn and grow if everyone is scared to share their feelings. Is the cause of such anger over questioning ones beliefs due to insecurity of their beliefs? No one can take your beliefs from you except yourself. Anyway, I will patiently wait for the day when we can all talk together again, whether we see the world the same or not and be ok with sharing. Elsa - I like woo-woo stuff too :) another thing I've found beneficial in calming my mind and emotions is doing breath work

Where to start. As always, your videography rocks - perspective, slowness, focus. Elsa sharing her meditation practice and herself. And THEN, the climbing and beautiful music making combined with all of your beautiful laughter and the support you gave each other. That just opened up a whole other box of how climbing can be experienced. So positive and sweet and fun and great. And then Barron sharing how he journals and reading his journal entry. Every second of this video enriched my day and my heart. Thank you.

My favourite of all your videos so far. The way you've captured powerful contemplative moments and observations, as well as the sheer beauty of the landscape - and balanced that out with the climbing fun and energy, and the music - takes the viewer on a journey and encourages some reflection of their own. Loved the explanation about meditation (a great reminder I should do that more!). Found your videos from Elsa's bullet journal primer and have since started a journal of my own using some of those ideas. Was great in this video to hear about Barron's journal approach too, and the honesty and emotional depth with which he recounts his experiences is really moving. Thank you for everything you share!

And Barron, thanks for sharing one of your journal entries and being so connected to nature and your truth. I agree that journaling is even more important now because of the divisive social and political climate we're in. I completely resonate with Elsa and Barron’s comments on meditation. It is work that pays back in a big way. (I just started again after a long hiatus and wow.. talk about atrophy!). I also think it’s very cool how transparent you are/were about the pipe. Alluding to the fact that you and Elsa have your conflicts like any couple. One has to be pretty brave to be real enough to expose themselves to the often harsh critique of a social media following. I suspect (hope) that folks who are attracted to you two are kind.

Long quiet views and walks are the greatest therapy for me. I also like to sit in the dark in the woods and just listen while looking up at the sky.

Hello from Olathe!!! I am 54 years young. I have kept a journal since my mom gave me my first "diary" with ballerinas on it in the 4th grade for my birthday. I am a complete introvert. Writing shit down helps my mind. Writing down thoughts, views, memories, events, schedules, lists, really... anything. My journals nowadays, for the the last 30 years, have lots of sketches and paintings in them as well as words. I have kept them all. The nice ones and the ugly ones. I had a great Art teacher in highschool who made us keep an art/journal for the class. BEST THING EVER!!! I realized then my journals were a gift to myself as well as any one in my future after I'm gone. I now keep a journal for my son. Not a baby book, but a journal, All though it has some photos in it. I write as if if I'm talking to him about his day,or about his future. I write things down he has said to me or his dad. Things he has chosen to share with me. I also write my thoughts about him. I will give him this gift when he leaves home. He is 15 now.

First thought: this is my favorite video that y’all have made so far this year - very thoughtful and inspiring content in my opinion! Second thought: the rock that Barron uses as a backdrop during the tobacco/ journaling bit is super dope! Nature creates the best color palettes ☺️

Love this video! This will sound weird but my favorite part is about 2:29 where you show the Scamp with a straight on shot with the awning setup. Mine finally came yesterday and I'm also using the brackets from Scamp. The picture was super helpful! (as well as your install video a while back).

That oatmeal concoction was NEXT LEVEL YUM! And, your explanation of meditation/mindfulness was amazing. I just finished 8-week MBSR class and I want to get to where you are sensei. Ok...now Barron's gone to the most amazing view to meditate and journal. This is my kinda vid...part living vicariously through you and part inspiring action. Last edit of my own comment...I will say it...this is maybe my favorite video ever. Simple, loving, living, deep. I'm just 3.5 years from getting out there myself and trying to find moments of it here and there in the meantime. Best to you three.

Love that Barron’s an old soul with the tobacco pipe. I don’t smoke, & don’t like the smell of cigarettes, but I loved the smell of tobacco shops when I was kid & one could walk into a corner tobacco shop (miss them). Was anxious the whole time you guys were climbing.

Luv the new glasses they compliment your beautiful face. Hubby & are in our late 50's & mid 60's & we both absolutely adore every video you make of your adventures living in your Scamp. We're living vicariously through you two. Hubby had a Stroke,3 heart attacks, lost everything & now is all back. COPD & Heart stops us from doing camping, etc. I'm ill as well. You're furbaby Kamp is a total joy to watch. Plus, your recipes are truly innovative & you should write a Scamp Soup book.🤗 Keep the videos, creativeness, & pure fulfilling free joy. Peace & Amore', CJ...🧚‍♀️💜🧚‍♀️ Merry Christmas from Florida. 💚❤ P.s. you & your friends singing is beautiful.

You have no idea how happy I am about Barron saying he smokes a pipe! I was starting to think it was really odd that no one smokes! I know pipes and ciggs are different but I was starting to think my husband is going to be the only one out there who publicly smokes! Love that you keep it real!💯%❤Much Love❤🐾🐾 My hubby and I will take challenge of NO INTERNET for 24 hours!
