A North York Moors
Bransdale is possibly the most remote valley in the North York Moors National Park. I go in search of solitude and this time strong winds provide a challenge to my wildcamp!

You’re welcome - I’m off up there tomorrow so hopefully some good footage. Weather on the upturn! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Thanks for the mention! You deserve a far higher viewership, especially your great project of going to the most remote area of each National Park - that's a great thing to do.

You’re welcome! Forest of Bowland is next on my list (when the ground dries up a bit!) I’m sure the views will catch up too - thank you again ATB Jason

@@cragratoutdoors You really want to wait until we've had 2-3 dry weeks before heading there. It can be wet beyond your wildest nightmares. It is my local playground as it's < 10 miles from home.

Another great vid. I'm not familiar with that part of the Dales. I need to explore around that area it certainly looks stunning. ATB.😊👍

Splendid. I really enjoy your videos. Love seeing God's own county/country too. When I head up there I tend to kip in my car though. Was at Burnsall in the summer and in Loop Scar before 8.00am.NYM are an amazing place to hike and I aim to get there in the next few weeks myself. Keep the videos coming!

Cheers Dave - it wasn’t too bad in the end. A couple of times in the night I got rattled but that was it!
Ah - hence the Forest of Bowland interest. As I said elsewhere, all depends what you call a rock and what you call an island to include/exclude from the centre calculation. You could probably even go on a multi-day wild camp collecting several of the spots that claim that title - so whichever it is you have done it. Roughly Hebden Bridge to Salter Fell would be the line.
