I like a finale in which it transitions from a fire storm of color to nothing but huge reports. And then one last lone report to signal the end. And you hear it echoing for miles.

It's nice to be a spectator every once in a while, too. Good show

Lighting at 2:53!!! Lol Nice Show!

The grand finale had the most dangerous fireworks. The salutes were up to 8 inches and very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing when you are lighting up their fuses to set them off in the sky.

Throw in some thunder kings in the finale

because it would take the fun out of the fireworks if some people couldn't hand fire there shows they wouldn't enjoy and most small towns hand fire doing it and it has nothing to do with budgets and if you wanna see a GREAT finale look up Lancaster ohio fireworks that's my local town I do its a 6 minute finale a lot of thunder kings and shells but other than this is a good small town show!!

it depends on the budget and/or what the client wants.

most likely because of big cities they dont let big cities have consumer fireworks usually becasue they need to keep trafic going

dave when you are recording fireworks at night, what settings do you put your camcorder on? i.e. nighttime mode, auto focus etc

I think what you mean is a Pyromusical. A display that is timed to music. Pyromusicals are expensive, and not a lot of customers want to put out big bucks for this type of show. You have to remember, a typical unscrpited shows is between 15 to 20 minutes long. That same show scripted, could cost double. A lot of these smaller towns dont see a need for all that and just want a nice basic handfire show, which is what you see in this vid. Check my Wilmington, Delaware video from the 4th of July.

I should have specified that my statement excluded "safe and sane" items. I left that bit of info out since I have no use for them, and it was not on my mind. I have actually never heard that "safe and sane" items can only be used during certain times. I know townships have their own laws over the states on the use of fireworks, but needing a permitted time to use "safe and sane" is dumb... if thats what your saying .

All fireworks are illegal unless you have a permit. The permit is the only thing that allows an individual, or company, have the right to shoot a show.
