I like how these best horror games scare you more psychologically rather than by jumpscares. The focus on psychological aspect is so underestimated in nowadays games

The creepiest thing for me is that the people behind the camera looks eerily similar to the parents.

I knew I'd seen that marionette TV show elsewhere. It's a British children show called Andy Pandy which originally aired in the 1950's on the BBC. Funny how they can make it so much more creepy with a different backing track :)

Just wrapping my head around this one, they created a virus, impersonated his fathers voice, and put a surveillance camera in a teddy bear

Mom worked at an electronics factory that made tvs and radios. She had zero trust for cathode ray tubes. She wouldn't allow a color tv in the house until one of us finally bought one ourselves. There's a certain amount of radiation to those things but "mostly" harmless. Mom grew up watching the skies toward New Mexico where the bombs were tested and grew to mistrust radiation. Its the radiation parents were concerned about which is why they told kids not to sit too close to a tv, especially a color set.

I got “ruin your eyes” but never “square eyes.”

That was intense when he was going back and forth to the treehouse. The info about the escaped tiger made it more intense. I felt something happened to the brother. One reason why he could not get back in the house.

Man you always find this types of classic style games which gives the nostalgic memories. Thank you Chris! Another good gameplay, mate. And the haircut looks nice.

After watching this game I went to my daughters room and removed the brown bear that was on her bed, just incase Bloody hell, what a fabulous game. Thank you for playing Chris, you always make our day.

The improvement this dev makes with each game is hugely noticeable. Always great to see some lovingly crafted third-person games instead of the usual first person stuff.

Anyone else hoping that the tiger was real & the game was going to end with the Night Freak being devoured by it? Just me?

It always has to be a clichee... your ideea was much more original.

That weird phone call freaked me out.... no real explanation or anything from the game..... Maybe it was the escaped tiger calling. That scares me less.

I'm always so excited when you post. Watching horror games with you is, oddly enough, my way to relax. You have such a nice voice too that if I'm watching late at night I can almost nod off. 😊

I never thought video footage of "Andy Panda" could be spliced into such a sinister narrative! Great game and the ending leaves it open to future chapters. I'd definitely watch more!

The game was slowly building the tension but in the end it was worth it. Nice and creepy story to digest! Thanks again for the commentary Chris.

11:04--11:11 What the heck? 😶🤣 That was fun! Timmy making all the bad choices worked here because he made them with impunity until the end. That really let the tension build. @@Scriptor13 No, I never leave any nasty comments here because there's no reason. But another channel I'm subscribed to... They get a lot of trolls. And I fight those trolls by trying to troll them back. But whereas the actual troll comments are hateful and malicious, mine are just subtle jabs trying to (indirectly) troll them back. And it's those comments that seemingly get me in trouble.

@@shadowjudge921 Oh, okay. It seems that trolls are more valued than regular folks on YT in some ways. No matter how many times I've reported them, nothing ever happens. Part of the problem, imo, is that there is no text box included in the "Report" screen, so you have no way to describe _exactly_ why you're reporting someone. Frankly, I've just given up on it. I figure that it's the content creator's responsibility to ban them, and if he/she/they don't care enough to do so, why should I.

@@Scriptor13 Unfortunately coming from a background of being bullied throughout my school days, I find it hard to tune out the haters. I try to and just leave my own little comments based on what I see. But that toxicity always manages to sink back in and I go back to trying to troll the trolls. That's another reason I'm moving. My plan is to give myself a fresh start with no distractions. No politics to involve myself with, no internet to dazzle me, no trolls to tell off, and no family or pets to look after. Just me and my books.

this one was fairly creepy I really loved the story but the ending dissapointed me it did not show whether the kid survives or not I wanted to get to see whether the kid survives or not 😟🙁 I would have liked it if the game could let you get more endings that would be so cool

I didn't like the end but it had one of the best done jump scares I've seen in quite some time. The buildup was perfect and it wasn't "in your face" like most are.

It's always great to see that you have uploaded a new video and to be honest the haircut looks really good on you 👍🏻 !

The main characters model is so funny. Just looks like shrunken down adult that moves like he is on a catwalk.

Nicely paced atmospheric retro horror, with some well judged jump scares. As a small aside, the B&W TV show was called "Andy Pandy". I'm so old that I can remember watching it as a kid. I think the bear in the show was creatively called just "Bear"

That would have been so fucked if your parents were some of the silhouetted figures at the end, I would have loved that lmao

I think the game took its sweet time to get there (half of its run time was maybe a bit much), but once you got to the treehouse it started to get more and more creepy, and I really enjoyed that !

Thought this was too slow at first but it was all set up for the second half to work. Some moments were actually creepy AF. The ending wasn't so good though, that could have been done better, maybe even with Jimmy escaping.

This like the 2nd video i seen that it's obvious that the artist that worked on this basic game had no idea of what a child or younger kid would look like and it's almost funny to watch due to the character looks like an adult shrunk down to appear as a child but it more like Honey i shrunk myself, ha, ha.

That snippet with Andy Bear was Andy Pandy and teddy from the show from the 50s, wonder if they got the rights for that!!

CJ, the puppet show that was on TV is in Old English tv show called Andy pandy it aired in 1950 and then 1970 and had 92 episodes and was also revived in 2002 using stop motion, the original was part of the 'Watch with Mother' series including other UK staples such as but not all, the clangers, the flowerpot men, bagpuss, Mr.Benn and The Herbs.
