At the end of 2022, we embarked on this journey, full of anticipation and curiosity. The highlight of this trip was undoubtedly the sacred mountain situated in the sea, attracting us with its magnificent scenery and unique atmosphere. As fans of the movie "The Lord of the Rings", we naturally had to make a pilgrimage to the "City of Gondor".
Before arriving at Mont Saint-Michel, we settled in a charming hotel at the foot of the mountain. Upon arrival, we were already captivated by the stunning scenery of the sacred mountain. In the evening, we began our nighttime exploration within Mont Saint-Michel, discovering the mysterious ancient castle. Here, we experienced a unique sense of tranquility and mystery, as if we had traveled back in time to the Middle Ages.
The next morning, we climbed Mont Saint-Michel once again, this time for a leisurely stroll in the fresh morning air. We meandered through the winding alleys, admiring the beautiful views of the ancient city. On this journey, we personally experienced the traces of history. In addition, we visited the enchanting nearby town of Pontorson, explored its vibrant local market, and felt the rich French atmosphere.
