Your health insurance covers all your children and it can be renewed online once it's expired without going to their various offices. I am living in Germany 🇩🇪 but i have my health insurance in Ghana 🇬🇭 and it still covers my 2 kids back home.

2016 i got sick and was rushed to the emergency . The hospital i was sent to is regional/teaching hospital. I was having health insurance. After 3 weeks i did not paybanything. The only money we paid was 2000 cos they ordered emergency medicine they were in short off outside the country from one hospital at south Africa. If i dont have insurance we might have paid almost 20k plus. God bless Ghana

Lily, I opened this video because I wanted to say please stop putting one country above the other because we are all similar, and we’re all suffering 🤧 but after you said Ghanaians should take a little time to appreciate their country, I just started tearing up. I remember all the things my university mates from Nigeria used to think we have it better in Ghana and I didn’t even see it. You’re right, we must sometimes pause and thank our past and previous leaders for what they have done no matter how much we feel they have not done enough, at least they have each put some things in place. We all just hope for a better Africa. The corruption is really costing us a lot.

The NPP may not have managed the economy to the expectation of many , but you have to be honest to see the good things they have done that did not exist before they assumed political power. But I still have to make a clarity here so that our history don’t change. Ghana National Health Insurance was established by former President Kuffuor in 2003. It wasn’t former President Mahama who brought National Health Insurance in Ghana. This is just to set the record straight.

Really! In Ghana, you can’t allow someone to die because the family can’t deposit a certain amount. We have now upgraded from paper to paperless system so all ur information will be in the system. If you get treated and u recorver but find a way to runaway without paying, anytime u fall sick n u go to any hospital, the moment they add ur Health Insurance number to the system, it will pop up that u r owning( the health insurance system doesn’t cover all the medical conditions but covers up to 80% of it and it doesn’t cover ur stay at the ward. It depends on the hospital u r admitted. Some takes 10 cedis per night).

Why do you thrive on putting Nigeria down we don hear my Lord is it by force Nigerians are trying their best Nigerians are literally one of the best doctors if not the best in multiple Countries we try and try you wouldn't like it either if your parents kept comparing you to other people childrens your obsession with putting Ghanaians on a pedestal will be your downfall yes we Nigerians love giving props to make people from our country take notes but you on the other hand do it in a weird way. Nigerian thrive on hearing good things not negative things all the time every corner Naija this Naija that , people are protesting, dying and etc... you're just giving other countries an ego boost instead of just uplifting Nigerians only without mentioning other countries and giving advices and calling Nigerians out , you make it a competition very much weied behavior

Hope you also tell the Nigerians who continually talk down on others, have you heard the expression “ common Ghana” ? You can’t take it even though you dish it out. Ask yourself is Nigeria the only African country? There are other citizens from other African countries in Ghana but they’re respectful and law abiding so no one even knows they’re there. So please leave lily alone. I don’t like this comparison at all but I’m sure effort should be put into changing attitudes then the peace you want will automatically come to you.

But when we go Abroad this countries do see some bad things happening but they also see the good in Nigerians let's be fr I'm yet to see other countries holding Africans accountable for what Ghanaians have done to Nigerians. Everytime Nigeria gets the blame even when talking about the history between Ghana and Nigeria lots of Ghanaians on Social media make it seem like we were wicked and started it all when it's very far from the truth Ghanaians started, completely forgot it and don't acknowledge it

Mahama built all those roads schools and hospitals with GHC 56 Billion. Asides Nkrumah no one has done more infrastructure than Mahama. Akufo-Addo and Bawuliar have borrowed GHC 700 Billion and GHC 45 Billion central bank support their failed free shs, agenda 111 and planting for food and jobs. When NDC was in power $1 = GHC 3.8. Now under NPP it is $1 = GHC 13. There is no pandemic that can excuse that level of incompetency. With a simple cost and benefit analysis we can see who was the better government.

People aren't voting for them because they are competent, they are voting for them because they can't afford to send send their children to school because our NPP misleaders have ruined everything. This creates a class of very poor Ghanaians who have no choice but to vote NPP over and over agin or risk not having their children in school. It is a political weapon to disenfranchise the poor. Ask any Ghanaian whether they would go back to 1$ = GHC 3.8 but they pay fees or $1 = GHC 13 but you get "free" SHS (more accurately called free tuition because you literally pay for everything. Most Ghanaians would want to go back to pre-2016. @@abaji3536 social intervention is a scam. What incentive do Akufo-Addo and Bawuliar have to fix the economy?. What they've essentially done is create a class of highly impoverished Ghanaians who no choice but to vote for them regardless how inept or corrupt they are because they are so poor they cannot afford to pay their own children's fees. Why would they help improve their economic situation so they can no longer rely on the government and possibly vote against them ?. This is why the economic situation will never change under NPP. Ask any Ghanaian whether they would want to go back to when $1 = GHC 3.8 and pay fees or $1 = GHC 13 but with "free" SHS ( more like free tuition because you literally pay for everything else ). Most Ghanaians wish they could go back and November 2024 is going to prove that. Not to mention Bawuliar gave his brother a $12M contract but when he was in opposition cried about Mahama doing same. It is world famous lying once again shining through. Either it is ok to do it or wrong for both parties. At the end of the day that is what NPP is, a propaganda machine with no real vision for the country clinging onto relevancy through tribal sentiments and easily fooled foot soldiers such as yourself. NPP don't deserve power ever again.

All these social programs are very very good for a lower and middle income countries if you want to put the country on the path of development akin to what happened to the so-called Asian tigers.
