Yeah truly so healing. Like I feel like people are not giving her enough credit for this. So progressive and evolved and Myla will grow up strong and happy because of it.

It feels nice, but I’m still bitter at my mom for making me hate my father. She lied and dramatized everything. My dad never said anything bad about her, so I assumed it was because she didn’t do anything wrong. I even stopped seeing him on weekends even though that’s all the time he was able to spend with me. It hurts that I never got to grow up with a father because she took that role from him.

i agree. i’ve lived in separate parent households my entire life. i was always the middleman for the coordination of rides, and i had to endure the constant complaining about and saying awful things about the other parent, just because they didn’t want to drive the extra ten minutes. it caused so much anxiety for me. they didn’t care about where i wanted to be, just their own convenience. i got my drivers license about six months ago so now i can go wherever i want. it’s so freeing.

They more mature then 90% of co parents putting their baby first with no hesitation. After the situation she was in and I’m Assuming they were both sort of in. It’s genuinely so uplifting to see this. She’s one of the few people on social media that i genuinely think are a good role model. She has gone through so much and is still so incredible. This makes me so happy

My parents are like this too, they’ve had their ups and downs but they’ve ALWAYS put me first. Whichever parents house i want to be at they let me be there. They never talk bad about each other in front of me and keeps their problems between them. I’m so grateful for them 🥰

for real like my parents “co-parent” but not to this level. if i say i miss one of them the other will be like just call them or you’ll see them next week. like they argue more about who gets me when i could just yk decide for myself

Your kid acts like she is pretty

As someone who had divorced parents who couldn’t co-parent to save their lives, I find these videos incredibly healing and I pray that this child grows to know she really did have the best parents!

Thanks for putting your child before your emotions, and that goes for the father, too - we need more parents like y'all. Obviously, we need to heal homes, so they don't HAVE to be broken, but if you're gonna be separated, this is absolutely the best way to do it. Thank you so much!!!! That is so great that you guys are flexible with her like that. Kids needs for one parent over the other ebbs and glows throughout their life so the fact that the both of you are good with this and nobody gets butt hurt about something that has everything to do with your daughters needs and nothing to do with your own is absolutely the healthiest and most wonderful thing I’ve seen! Congratulations on both of you being such great parents!

It’s so nice to see this! I grew up in Sweden and my parents divorced when I was about 10. We didn’t really have a set schedule because my dad travelled for work a lot, but they never ever denied us seeing the other parents. Of course we got to see mom or dad whenever we wanted to, it’s our parent. They moved close enough that we could walk between the houses in about 20 minutes or so. My stepmom has become and extra parent/best friend and I’m so blessed to have them all in my life. Obviously divorce isn’t easy on anyone, but i was really lucky to have an overall great childhood with three parents. It always saddens me when children get stuck between the parents and kids who only got to see their dad one weekend a month. So happy you have a system that works well for the three of you, but primarily your daughter! ❤

This is so inspiring to hear you can coparent like this. I’m 25 and going through a divorce I wanna make it as easy as possible for my twins and you are inspiring

Hii my parents have been separated since I was three and got divorced when I was around five so I know a thing or two about coparenting from the view a kid and all I have to say is it is hard and stressful but coparenting requires listening to the other parent and to the kids when they are mature enough to understand what they are doing. My parents have recently switched up our schedule for swapping and to create that schedule they talked to us about it (they didn’t do a great job at keeping tension low but my parents are also polar opposites) and I personally love that. Also whenever/if ever you and the other parent feel comfortable with it just having both parents at an event even if it is only for a little it is still a nice feeling.
