When KZ was in high school she had a polyp on her vocal cord. KZ couldn't belt high anymore but along the way she found her own voice in music. Artist.

Filipino singer its not just a singer...its a total package ....they can dance sings ballad folk jazz rocks raps lots of them do this for fun with friends and family

She grew up in poor family too.she joined auditions and worked hard for her parents.. She is veru down-to-earth and funny too. I have watched her interviews.. you are a very good voice analysis u are very very ryt she is a very talented whole package all in one singer.

Look at 14:23 , then look at what she's holding at 16:05 it fell when she knelt. She said in an interview that it was very expensive so when it fell, she nervously caught it. and didn't let go of it. :)

Oh, yes. A slight accident or what you'd call a wardrobe malfunction. But I believe it was a blessing in disguise because it added to the drama and magic of her performance! Even the imperfect became wonderfully perfect!

This is brilliant! A professional analysis of a performance that quite literally mesmerizes the audience from the beginning to the end, every genre of modern music is in this cover, full of power and swag. The chinese /asian audience is hard to get them off their seats and she did it! By the way, she lost her earrings on the stage...it wasn't hers. Check her cover of Royals. Thanks

Please react to/analyze her other performances on the same show, Singer 2018. She sang a song (a mix of 3 Mandarin songs) that she learned in less than two weeks in her 2nd performance, then performed her own version of "Say Something" in her 3rd performance. This girl is really phenomenal and can probably sing anything you can throw at her within her voice range!

i agree with you my friend...she's got one rare talent...an amazing talent to entertain on stage...why i consider her not just a singer but an artist...an artist does what plain singers cannot...to get the audience into performer's flows and acts and moves...and enjoy every bit of it...!

This is literally what you call: indept dissecting of ones incredible performance! I've seen way so many reactions to KZ's performance but after watching yours, I'm in awe! YOU are on point on every detail--finally, someone who truly knows and understand what music is. It's entertaining, and enlightening to watch (tho I'm doubtful, re: auto tune vs reverb).

Great piece - by - piece assessment; on point. If there was a singing competition title for "Stage Killer," KZ would have won the Golden Prize, hands down. I discovered your channel because of kz, you're right about her being an actress. She just starred in her first movie and she's the leading lady, she also wrote two songs for the movie. Nice and wonderful reaction but she's not much appreciated in her country because she can't belt high notes (due to her throat problem), filipinos grew up listening to power belting like Whitney Houston so she's struggling but she's doing better now.

Thank you. I learn a lot from your reactions after watching this. Actually they call it "Reverb" and not auto tune. It's not allowed to use auto tune in any competition in the philippines and in Singer 2018. She also did that in her "Wish bus 107.5 performance". Please also reacts to Marcelito "pomoy" "the prayer" from celine dion and andrea bocelli". And also Morissette Amon Secret Love song. Both of them are a wish bus performance.
