A new way to think about disability | Justinah Ajayi | TEDxYabaStreet

Disabilities do not spell the end of the world and our limitations are not fatal. Justina Ajayi, in her speech, shows her audience through har personal story that redefining your disability is the key to living a life of fulfilment. Justinah Oluwadara Ajayi is a registry staff at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo and a graduate of Agricultural Extension and Management from the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure.
She is a filmmaker, with several certifications from Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama, who has employed the use of media to re-orientate the society about their perception of Persons with Disability.
She is the President of Exceptional Grace Ministry International; Founder and Initiator of Exceptional Grace Initiative for Disability Advocacy; and Convener of the Gracious "Me" Campaign.
Through the activities of these organizations, she has been able to reach over 2000 adults and children living with disability, sensitizing them on purpose discovery and maximization; catering to their basic needs; provision of food and mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches; and seeking to empower them with skills for financial independence.
She loves singing and traveling. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
