The clan server idea is really nice actually, a lot of whitelisted Minecraft servers will no longer have to use bots and play around with permissions

The clan applications should be added to *all* servers!!! This would fit so neatly in our sever, because currently we depend on our members sending the answers to multiple questions in a channel, and us having to fully manually accept or decline these people.

The application part should be available for ALL servers, at least so we can create custom forms without the hassle of a bot. I love maintaining my codebase for the bot but it’s a pain sometimes. And this would be an easy solution

Honestly I just want official "Sub-Cords" for say, different factions of an ingame group/clan. Where you have to be in the main server for it to apply but the two servers are intrinsically linked together. If you're banned in one, you're banned in both (This would be a ticked box that you can activate). The owner being able to "Ghost" subcords would also be cool, where they can enter the server without actually entering, the server would be owned by the owner of the main discord server but it would be much easier to manage. Some form of "Server Parity" with roles would also be really interesting i think. Say if you join the subcord you would be given a role in the main server instantly with "[Subcord Member]" or whatever the roles name is.

I think for the moment this purpose just setting up categories with access roles works well. Everyone's in the main hub but whoever wants access to game 1 or game 2 chats and so on, there's community features to help with that and they're pretty solid IMO

Discord is just continuing their trend of stealing features that Guilded has had for 10 years, but implementing them very poorly.

Two guesses, the naive is that they maybe are trying to make some sort of space that was originally meant just for gaming, instead of this general purpose that 2019 and covid boosted recently. The other one is to just kickout competition with gilded as quickly showed. Ive never used gilded so idk lol

Every single new feature Discord has added in the last 6-7 years has been ripped straight from Guilded including this one. And Discord somehow always manages to do it worse. So yeah, it’s the second option lol.

I think it's ridiculous that they backtracked their Web3 integrations... Communities are super important for 2 very large industry segments: gaming & web3 (best if both). Backtracking on their developments just because of some random user backlash is very sad... they'll be forced to add it in at some point if they want to stay relevant. If not then and now, then sometime in the future; if they don't wither down first. I'm saying from a place of love for Discord.

Straight to the point: crypto dudes and their awful reputation that kinda ruined the first glance of a web3. Though, idk if those emerging federate web socials and services would be considered into web3, but they seem a truly great point to call it a new web in some sort of way.

NTTS could you put the text that you currently put at the bottom of the screen, e.g. 2:22 "Considering thie amount of effort, this might be a thing" anywhere else but there? Subtitles/CC get in the way. Although I realize that I'm probably in such a small minority, that there is no way you would want to make it ugly and put slightly higher or even at the top of the screen.
