So is budgetary battle free then?

I think it would be interesting to allow some upgrades in the team. Maybe 3 upgrades max each and an upgrade costs an extra 10k or something.... would make the options for discards better and obviously better teams - series is class though 😊

for the times that people get stinky pages,offer them the next page down for 50k,same for upgrades but max 3

Maybe make it so you can pay the same price for page 2 as you choose for the player in the first place. So for a player for 20k you can reroll for next page for 20k

For such a simple idea, I’m surprised it’s taken this long for someone to come up with a series like this

my favorite new series on youtube in quite some time! good work james! just thinking, at the start of the next ea cycle, maybe a wheel with positions/a wheel with prices or leagues or something would be good since a plethora of cards won’t be available. just some thoughts!

loving the new series so far. wanna recommend offering a chance to upgrade a position for a full chem team. seems hard enough to pull off, so seeing a reward and maybe more thought into the selections would be nice

You should add a throw of the dice power up. Where say for instance you put down 100k you have to search between 50k-200k therefore you may get lucky and get someone expensive but you may get someone cheap at the same time

Would be pretty funny to see a power up where you can choose a specific player, but you don’t get to set a price range, so there’s a chance you could get their gold / silver card or a special card of them. It would cost a set price idk how much

Good concept, think you should have a rule on one pick the person can say what number player on the pop page to take so say number 7 and they have to use them- guess it would be hard to implement with them setting price but would be funny

I think you may need to limit the position changing after selecting the player. It kind of defeats the purpose of having to select a certain amount to spend on a position by just moving the player and trying again

@@ItsItsJames Right, but the amount of coins you select to spend on a position signifies the importance of a position. If you underspend and get a crappy CB that also happens to play fullback you could just bump them over there and then increase your budget the next time you search for a CB. Kind of like a bailout. I don’t hate it entirely, it could add a different aspect to the game

you can lock in a set amount of coins at the start and then spin a wheel to see which position you get.

Love the series, maybe an idea instead of being able to choose a price you spin a wheel to see how much you get to use on it.

About the idea of picking whoever comes up the most, I think it should be like a wildcard. Both of you get 3 wild cards each, you can either play a good one for you, or a bad one for your opponent. Get thinking of some wild cards guys!

Hey james great series have enjoyed so far, thought a decent idea for the power ups you were on about would be league lockdown where you can set it to a certain league when you search or a player and can do a similar one but with the nation too

Could also do like wildcard where you don't set a position you just blind search at your price range

A couple ideas for power ups could be “Hail mary” : you call it after they choose there price range and you have 5 pages of players instead of one and if you guess the same player they choose you lose that player for a bronze And “lucky dip” you pick a card type but specific type and don’t set a coin limit , could be a 30k player or a 1mil coin player and both power ups cost a certain amount of coins ? Also lucky dip excludes icons

I really like the idea of the series, I'd add a feature where instead of saying which position your going for and then say the amount of coins, I'd say the amount of coins first and let a wheel decide

You could maybe a have a one time double or nothing option where you use let’s say 20k budget but set the price to 40k but it has to be a no look pick

"Budget Battle" for a name? Also just a couple of ideas, maybe the budget being decided by a wheelspin at the start of the video. Also as an incentive not to just spend all the budget available, maybe for every 100k left in your budget at the end you gain a one goal advantage.

i think red fut champs picks should be available for upgrades, as you said, reward those who play the game, also a bit more on the line for a discard

What about doing it but you have to get full chemistry?… Or having a player or two that the other can’t use?

What if you had to pay X amount of coins for every additional filter like League/Club/Nationality ontop of your price range

I'm a huge fan of this series and I haven't played fifa in a year

Are red picks allowed for example Andy got greenwood who is buyable but if he had red picks would that be allowed or is it just simply sbcs,evos and objective?

I think you should try to guess each others formations and if you get it right they should loose some of their budget i.e. 50k or 100k

Change it so they can’t change formation. Pick one at the start then they have to stick to it

well 550k would've been the good number if they didn't already have a player in the squad - with them starting with one player already, 10 more players = 500k

I dont see the point in being able to see the other guys searches. surely it would be funny if you both wound up with a stinker. could also do some bluffing as to if you got a good selection or not. would also eliminate the same price range + position resulting in same selection like what happened on andy's channel

Come from the Andy vid, feel like when you have to discard a big sbc player- you should have the option to discard a player of the same value so you don’t lose the cards because that nunez broke my heart🥲
