I remember when I first was going to be away from my parents. When I joined the Army, my dad dropped me off at what is called MEPS, the night before being bussed to Ft. Knox. Ill never forget bawling as my Dad left, realizing that I was no longer going to see him every day. All that to say, it's normal to have those emotions when you first move out especially if that move creates a physical distance between you and the parents. :)
