Just a note on yields; each pass of fertilizer adds 23% yield (+46% possible) and having weeds in the field reduces yield by 20%. For more details read the "improving yields" section of the help menu (bottom category in the ESC-menu)

The last three version of farming sim had a gps mod. The mod makes it so you can pay 1000$ per vehicle for a GPS, which then allows you to do straight passes every time. The mod usually shows up early enough.

Price to add in fs22 is approx 10-15k USD. This is actually pretty realistic if we’re talking upgrades to IRL 🚜.

start with chickens or greenhouses for money all the time they only require grain and the greenhouses water btw you can rent more money up to 500 k just click the dollar logo in the menu

If you want to do the scavenger hunt on Elmcreek, there are 100 collectables, 1,000 per collectable, and 100,000 per set. meaning you get 1.1Mill from all of them. It's also a great way to see the whole map and get some good cash while waiting for your crops to grow.

Hence, horrible crop for silage unless you’re prepared to have diminished returns.

I just learned this myself, but you are depreciated and increasing your maintenance on your Harvester by driving it everywhere to deliver the corn. That is why you need a truck and a trailer to bring the crop to market etc. What you will see, if you keep doing it this way, is that the time will come for maintenance and it will costs many tens of thousands of dollars to repair it on a harvester this valuable. Also, you really should be leasing in the beginning so you can afford the big stuff sooner. Also, do harvesting corn contracts these next few months to keep bringing in cash while you can.

instead sleeping could lease equipment to fertilize and remove weeds for much bigger profit

when harvesting you can set time to real time as well so you save day time for more work/labor if you're squeezed for time.

Now you got me downloading the game just to farm. Hahahaha looks fun

I’d suggest a background running item like bee’s. Just an initial purchase and all profits. Plus bee’s when placed by a field gives bonuses

I tried bees, they are a hassle for a measly 5% bonus on only a select few crops. You can't pick up the pallets so you already need a way to load them. Greenhouses are a better passive option

You should do bees and/or green houses to make passive money and there pretty easy to do

what i would have done, i would look for a spraying contrackt and just borrow everything. and then you can use that to spray youre field and the contrack. you get bether yeald and you get some money out frome the contrackt beside you save money on getting a tracktor. you could allso start a harvesting contrackt whit borrowing the stuff and when you are done whit youre field just cancel the contract.

Try setting up Wind turbines and Solar power to make passive money

You can change the month of the year in the settings of the game (by the time progression)

Instead of buying the house at the field - couldnt you just take a cab (teleport) to your original house and take a cab back when its time for harvest ? And there was another 12m header - for like 40k less ..

You don need that harvester you can use headers on any harvester i use one that has a bigger grain tank and its cheaper than the deere

Instead of the farmhouse I would have built a silo to wait for the right price and switched to my farm with the "switch vehicle" button-> tip: park your pickup right next to your farmhouse best MOD "Courseplay" but I don't know if this already exists or if it will even exist for LS / FS 22 I always used this mod in the old versions
