Does the 1/16 ounce chatterbait have a smaller hook than the 1/8 ounce? Also I bet powerbait minnow in 2 inch would be killer on the back of that!

Since the vast majority of spinning reels can be rigged for left handed crank, I could never figure out why people cast right handed, switch hands, then reel in right handed. Can't people learn to use their left hands for cranking a handle ? What happens when a fish hits right as the lure hits the water ?

I fish same as this fella, have been for almost 50 years, and I make out pretty good. Oftentimes I switch hands while the lure is in flight, ready for the touchdown strike. But you are correct, I have missed a couple over the years; which is aggravating, but not nearly as bad as trying to reel with my left hand😂

Why are your average trout so big in Virginia. I'm from the western states. Lots of trout, but average much smaller in size. Also, your brown trout look so different down there. They appear to be very dark (at least from what I've seen on videos).

@@garystile4955, I use a bait caster all the time but still have no reason to change hands when I use a spinning outfit. They have left and right hand retrieve bait casting feels. So I do not understand the changing of the hands either. Seems like you would miss a lot of fish that hit immediately on the fall of the lure by changing the rod from 1 hand to the other.

People do what feels natural. Bait casters, I cast with my right hand and swap the rod to my left hand and reel with my right hand. Spinning, I cast with my right hand and reel with my left hand.??? Y'all have a Blessed Day!🙏🐟🇺🇸

I can't get a bite on trout magnets much less catch one. Mouse tails, and Berkley rubber salmon eggs, and the power bait nuggets are my 3 go to baits. I got more fishing tackle then a man needs but I only fish with certain few baits for each fish in going for lol. My bass boat has more tackle in it then alot of tackle shops but I got 6 or 7 baits I keep tied on just about year round. Lol. Dont know why I buy so much tackle
