I've been no contact since 2020. He's blocked in every way possible! If i was foolish enough to take him back, i would be as crazy as he is! No way! Never, ever again!

Mine hoovered me 2 weeks ago. He sent me a text on my work phone. It had been 3 yrs to the exact date since he last called me and I never called him back. I wasn't even thinking about him and the text shocked me but ultimately disgusted me. I am still no contact!

Seriously?! What did he do? What did you do? I’ve been avoiding my Nex by avoiding all the places he might go. I’m getting tired of being a shut-in though. For the past 20 mos I’ve been 100% no contact. I dread the day I might see him. I hope he stays focused on his current toy.

I've been there 3 times. My God I don't have any respect for myself. Nope never again. Taking steps to get stronger and actually get sick at the sight of this person.

I hooverd myself back after we divoced and separated for 5 years. I had no idea about narcisism then 😢. I regrettably remarried him in 2014, but I filed for divorce in 2021, which was finalized on 17 May this year. Thanks to channels like these, I now know the truth and will never go back! We have 2 children together so complete no contact is not possible, but I now know that nothing positive will ever come out of this relationship where my mental health is concerned. I bet when he wooed you the second time all the love bombing you felt like you where in heaven so happy. Yeah we all felt that. Then you were married a month and they suddenly changed and became a monster. You felt like you didn't even know the person and always confused and agitated.

It is literary like they all went to the same university and got there degrees (there instead of their) because it was a backwards school they all graduated from. He tried to expose me after he purposely provoked me into reactive abuse and used that as his discard because I found out about his new supply. I live in a big city so running into him would not be a coincidence. This guy really pissed me off not because of the girl but because he was messing with me and I totally exploded. You’re right it’s been back and forth and I’m not going to play that. This guy did way too much and the biggest abuse was done to my little dog, so for him to try with me again would not be a good idea at this point 👍👍👍

I completely agree with this and I think Ben’s ultimate point is that you need to expect him to come back. By doing so you keep the strength to stay no contact when he does show up. Never believe they won’t, mine has done so multiple times. It’s always when I think it’s definitely done he shows up. I’m caught off guard, start chatting to him, then he ghosts me again and there’s me back to square one. Doing the work is crucial ❤ Edit-they believe that they own you. Last contact he messaged saying he knew I still loved him. So arrogant considering he discarded me with his newborn baby, for a new supply.

I found out he had another gf when I was in labour via her friend. He made out he wanted to be a family with me and baby, and it was all a “mistake”. He ghosted me suddenly when baby was 4 weeks old. Hasn’t physically seen baby since and he is 8 months. Just floated in and out of phone contact when his new supply is pissing him off with no really interest in his son. His new supply lost her kids as she attempted suicide when she found out about me. Absolute scum.

Thanks to this video I have now gotten hold of his phone number and blocked him. I had just deleted him, under the nonsensical idea he won’t contact me again anyway. I choose to take control now. By not blocking you are really just waiting.

Before I understood what narcissistic toxic traits were, in my experience they always come back. Family, friends and ex partners. Now I’m educated on the manipulation tactics, there’s no way any of them can ever come back!

I think they hoover because they blocked out everything they did to you, don't consider your feelings so they think you will be glad to hear from them. He hoovered many times. I had one period of 18 months where he was blocked, and I did move on. Ben, have you gone back to exes? Mine still comes back, but because i have become indifferent, it doesn't upset me, and he doesn't get what he's hoping for. I understand the disorder and actually feel bad for him. Blocking didn't work. Doing it now makes him think i still love him. In other words, im over him and have no expectations. He's still in my thoughts, every day, but i will never go back, Never trust him again.

I never run after anyone in my life ! If you feel you haf to run - you’ll be running your entire life after a soul less being. Live the life we all deserve ! Not everyone can be saved & it’s not our responsibility to save them !

For me, I was addicted to his smell, his voice, his presence… I was a complete addict, I admit it. All I had to do was smell him, and I would be triggered. I never experienced anything like it. It’s really crazy and I’ll never understand it. I’ve gone back to him so many times as well, I’ve lost count. After seeing your videos though… something has changed in me. I definitely want to change my life for the better and stop allowing toxic people to get the better of me.

My husband discarded me. He put a lot of effort in trying to destroy me our marriage, and pulling his friends and family into it all. He now has went and bought his own house and comes across as if we never existed or he wished we didn't ever exist? Don't think he will come back. He put too much effort into destroying our marriage and and trying to destroy me....

My ex hovered his ex fiance from 30 years ago. 2 months after I left him. We were married for 27 years. He broke up with her 3 months later.

4 cycles for me. Finally divorced. It’s been 9 months and I’m still healing, unpacking how I got here (not victimizing myself), and working on my triggers. Each cycle was worst. I reverse hoovered most of the time. This is the longest I’ve ever stayed gone and that empowers me. Finally got ahold of some dignity, self love, and self respect. Definitely won’t be doing that anymore. I share my story to tell you be strong, stay strong. You can and will overcome!

Your right... For me I finally left a 25 year relationship with a Narc a year ago.... BUT we have kids and grand kids together, And although he hasn't seen his kids or grand kids for over a year..... I KNOW.... In due time he will be back. I'm no dummy, But when he does come back.... I have set boundaries. And my boundaries are... Stay in your lane, Know your place because if he even tries to make any small move towards me.... Oh hellllll no.... Shit will pop off. And my grown kids know and agree that their father has no place in my life. We have 4 grown kids and 4 grand kids and they all agree that their father for right now isn't allowed around their kids. We lost our home to foreclosure because he decided to do him..... So our whole life was turned upside down, But we managed to pull through as a family and just kept it moving. Oh and he also cut all line of communication with this friends and family. And yes... I finally spoke up and basically spelled the tea to his close friends and family members. And in doing so, I found out a lot about what he was saying about me... Of course it was all lies. I learned a lot in this journey that's for sure. Just made 49 on the 9th of June.... Still young, I still have more life to live and enjoy, No more burdens, No more pain or chaos, Just growing and living my best.

Mines has been hoovering me for 14 years. I’m way over him and am now irritated. Blocked he uses other phones to attempt a contact. He’s ridiculous and will never get a reaction from me, the dolt!

OMG!! I was the fish in the tank! I was doing all these things to try & fix me, but still stayed in the toxic relationship! No matter what I did, he found a way to bring me down through the CONSTANT cheating and making new promises to change. I didn’t even realize the effects of the relationship until I stumbled upon these videos. I thought it was me being sensitive & him being a jerk! I’m out now, thank goodness he’s moved no to the next supply/victim. It’s amazing how clear you see things once you’re out!!!

If they don’t want to do the work then there’s nothing a councilor or you folks can do to help them. You have to open yourself up to truth that I have something with me that needs to be worked on and no one else needs to get involved. My mother was an alcoholic and always said when confronted that she could stop anytime. She never did, she was so far down that rabbit hole of denial that she put herself on a suicide path. We have to be real with looking at ourselves, bottom line 👍

He married his old supply that he continually lied about. So, no he's not coming back. He's dead to me and I am dead to him.

@@RawMotivations thank you. I’ve been using my energy to move my things into a storage unit so I can get ready for my move. I’m trying to be careful because I already know that my phone is being hacked into along with my laptop. I’m also being stalked so I’m aware of that also, my brother and friend say he has no legal right to prevent me from moving out. I’m going to be realistic about what these psychos are capable of doing so there’s only a handful who actually know what I’m going to do. I’m going to need further support as these two narcissists really did a number on me but not enough to push me into taking my own life and I’ve already felt that and was confused by why I would think that until I realized the mental damage that they were doing. I think the idea is to make me be unstable so that I’m looked upon as not being able to live alone or have me committed. But according to my brother he’s not going to let that happen. I’m aware of what this person does to try and trigger me into getting emotional so if I let it happen then it’s my fault. I totally grey rock and stonewall the person who I’m living in his house and that’s my survival method, I’m not going to change it.

Mine came back begging me for help that I was the only one that could help him after SIXTEEN YEARS. Telling me he could show me things I’ve never seen before 🤢 This is after he hid our children from me for 5 years. Uhhhh. GO AWAY. He still begs our children for my phone number incessantly where they have to hang up on him every time he gets a new phone number

My ex is suing me to sell our house. He is never coming back. There’s nothing that can make me believe he’s coming back.

NO CONTACT is the way to go...

I not only blocked his number, and him on all of my social media accounts, I also had to set them all on private, because I know damned well he would be creeping, and DMing me via added accounts. Sucks though, because doing so obviously prevents others from accessing. It also pisses me off, because I view this as a (twisted) W for him. Regardless, I had to do it for my own peace of mind. If/when he starts calling &/or texting me with text apps, that's when I will have to literally change my number. Another exasperating prospect, but again, it'll be 100% necessary. Sigh 🙄

My narc ex gf lives 1,500 miles away and has a new long distance boyfriend. She even said she was considering possibility of never speaking to me again. I’m 99.9% sure that not only will I never see her again, that I’ll never hear from her again either. 19 weeks no contact. No need to block, she blocked me in a lot of areas.

Exactly the same for me we are 10 days no contact I blocked him but it is really really hard. We could never separate in a nice or grown up way never because if I tried to set boundaries he just blows up like crazy

@@charleneerasmus6454 Today is 167 days of no contact and I promise you it does get easier. They will never change or improve in any way. There is an exercise that I just learned recently. You should try listing all of their negative qualities and then go and list your positive qualities.. you will see how they are not so perfect after all. Often times we put people up on a pedestal in our minds. Once you start thinking about all of the negative things and qualities they have.. you will see that truth. I’m sure just like me you have given more chances than they deserve and they blew it all. Sometimes you just have to get to that point where enough is enough already! We only get one shot in this world and we need to make the most of it. The more we waste time with people who don’t value us as we are, the more we are passing by those who do value us and we might lose out on that person. I hope my advice helps.

You want to talk about the crazy train? I have been married 29 years and finally am divorcing. I had no idea why the reason she was so cruel and controlling was that she was a narcissist after many years of extended silent treatments. I filed but my lawyer tells me not to move out while going through mediation. She is beyond cruel and even moved a girlfriend in that I can't evict. We're going through mediation but the 1st session failed. She believe she was entitled to everything despite her not working since 2009. Her offer was she gets the houses, alimony, medical. and half my retirement and I can have the clothes on my back.

@@ST-yc7uj I don’t know if I’ve ever told anyone to get over something. I haven’t done lives with lee in a long time and am willing to help if they reach out.

This comment caught my attention and would like to note that understanding empathy versus having empathy is the reason we are here. I give these self aware individuals that talk about the issues. My wife smiled when she saw my tears from the discard she handed me and probably didn’t even know it. I don’t ask my ex wife any questions related to her behaviour in the past. The truth will not change the past and probably be painful. Just want to say should not be here looking for empathetic answers. Cold hard truths here and at least you’re getting some here. Love you all and hope we all find healing in time
