Question of the day: What is your favorite CB or wallow lingo?

When your through talking you could say over and out. My late husband had a walky talkie in the early 80”s and that’s what they would say. Cute

We have used our walkie-talkies for years when we go to the mountains or at the lakes that don’t have service. We, too, hand one to our camping buddies and that way we can keep in touch. We were in the midst of a snow storm one year, our buddies were about 15-20 feet from us door to door. But with the snow coming down sideways(!) we couldn’t even open our doors. So our radios were indispensable! I’m glad you have started using these radios, it’s important to be able to communicate, especially in “no service” areas! Kudos from Wyoming

I follow another traveler in Canada who is using a walkie-talkie system between his van & his girlfriend's van they are traveling through Canada. He cut a hole in a seat belt cover to hold his walkie-talkie while he's driving.

Thank you! I always just like to share the realities that I am counter along the way there are some beautiful views and scenic vista’s however I also show the real meat and potatoes behind the travels. My goal is to inspire others to get out there and see the world but also know that if you’re doing so in a van that it does come with some complications sometimes.

As a commercial driver, I use 2 way radios at work all the time, they can be convenient. I just bought land out in the country and cell reception isn’t great. I’ve got three dwellings on my land, my BFF is going to live in one and my 18 yr old daughter in the other so I have a 3 pack of these in my Amazon cart in case we need to communicate and cell phones aren’t behaving.

I don’t know that I will use the headset simply because in some places lol’s are there you’re not supposed to have anything in your ears while driving and our main source of using this will be while driving. However I do like that they have included them just in case

Sorry for my lateness in watching your vidz. I was involved in hit and run while at the zebra crossing. Nothing serious but i suffer a sprain ankle. However after watching this, walkie-talkies are one of the few good investment item. Just create your very own code, just a few will do to simplify the conversation. The rest, just converse naturally like what you did in the video. Im so happy that you always got a few tricks and tips for all of us to share with. Loves Hayliee 😘😘👍👍👍

Really interested in your final review of these. I have 5 to 6 family members in a 20 mile radius of me, these may be a good backup to cell phones, especially for those who's phones are old and hardly hold a charge 😀

While driving down the road these have been great however I will say that if you have any tree coverage it does break down the signal and limit the mileage

Thanks for the video. I have walkie talkies, but they take batteries. I like the idea of USB chargable. And also, my walkie pics up lots of static from my MH engine. I have to put it close to my body to stop the static. So I store it in my bra when driving.
