سری لنکا میں عالمی شہرت یافتہ بودھی درخت کا ایک تاریخی سلسلہ ہے یہ پیپل (Fig tree) ہیں جس کی ایک شاخ 300 قبل مسیح میں بودھ گیا صوبہ بہار سے لا کر لگائی گئی تھی

The book monk showed you was the Dhammapada, which is a part of our sacred book Tipitaka or Tripitaka which is written in Pali language. Dhamma is the Buddha's teachings and pada means words, so it loosely translates as the words from Buddha's teachings.

Colombo mein agar Jana ho tau aik restaurant hai just Ka naam Kababish hai wahan Ka food Karachi jesa hai. Colombo mein patta market hai jahan Pakistani bohat log milay gay Have a nice Journey

We don't have one specific book as a Holy Book like you have Holy Quran. Everything Lord Buddha taught was written in "Tripitaka" and they are called, "Vinaya Pitaka, Sutta Pitaka, and Abhidhamma Pitaka". I'm no expert than the Buddhist monk you talked to but I'm sure he misunderstood what you asked because of the language. ❤

Sorry bro that's Such a narrow minded statement. Is Islam teach Muslims to not to respect and explore other religions and cultures. There is no harm respecting and get knowledge on other religions and cultures. But murdering people for name of God, yes it is a crime. Even God not accept such acts. 🙏
