Rahkiel Singh phytoestrogens lock on to receptors and block real estrogen. As a result you have higher testosterone and lower estrogen. Here is my theory: Shrooms disregard your previous thought-pattern-programming and let you think about stuff unbiased from previous opinions. If you start picking up those "wires", you can kinda think about things with logic and nothing else bothering your thoughts. That makes the conclusion that causing suffering onto other sentient beings should be avoided if practicly possible. Respect to all people who can keep this way of thinking after the trip ends, and integrate it into their lives.

But how much processed food did you eat before going vegan? Eliminating shit like white sugar, bread, junkfood, poor meat and sodas will 100% make you feel better, just food for thought. Pun intended! Most people will probably feel better for a while after going vegan becausen of this, but there is still great benefit in introducing high quality meats to your diet to fill your nutritional needs. Some people thrive on only veggies and fruit based on the origins of their genetics, but most people benefit from some amount of meat for essential amino-acids etc.

@@erikarnesen6052 yeah cutting processed foods is major good. My body reacts negatively when i get lazy and eat more vegan processed foods. Though plants contain all non essential amino acids, and many contain most if not all of the essential amino acids. Having a complete profile lets us build more important stuff in our body. I dont know all the science but its cool. What youre referring to is a wholefoods omnivorous diet. And still at any given point at least 90% or more of that plate should be veggies haha... the only meat consumption I moderately tolerate is hunted. This is because I have my uncle who needs to injest over 5000 calories a day (according to him) because of high metabolism, and he eats hunted meat to help meet that requirement because plants have lower caloric density. Though recently since I have spoken with him about veganism he has stopped buying meat products from the stores completely. There is no space here in this comment to battle whole foods plant based vs whole foods omnivorous from a health perspective because they are about the same. However, from an ethical/environmental perspective the plants are inevitably going to win. For this reason im always leaning towards wfpb.

After a lot of research, I eat invertebrates and insects such as crickets as well because some are more sustainable to farm than many staple plants and both species lack any understandable intelligence beyond simple stimulus responses, which plants have also been shown to have when they're harmed or threatened. This is refreshing to see. I appreciate Joe Rogan’s willingness to listen. I never expected to become vegan but had a similar experience and decided to all at once. To be fair brother, and this might not be the same where you're from, but my whole life vegetarians & vegans especially were the butt of many undeserved jokes on tv & in society generally (as was usually the case with most minorities who didn't conform to the agreed standard). Like they were strange or weak or preachy. It's not cool to be either of those things was the clear impression I got growing up but when in my later teens I did eventually start meeting some the reality was very different to what I'd been told, they were just normal people who didn't want to harm animals. Imagine. Now veganism is on the rise focus is placed on reactive vegans. There's no smoke without fire but veganism is trending so the media amplifies the drama a ton which alters perception. Polarizing topics is how they sell stories. "Occassional meat eater turns into modest vegan" isnt a headline. What NEVER gets discussed is the decades of abuse veggies/vegans (who are a small minority) have taken that was & still is tacitly approved by society. And let's be honest people are habitual, don't generally like to change & despite knowing some cruel stuff goes down in farms & abbatoirs most have been happily ignoring this for decades, many of them simultaneously considering themselves animal lovers or mocking non meat-eaters at the same time. No wonder some vegans act frustrated. No I'm not justifying every instance of bad vegan behaviour but cognitive dissonance, gluttony, ignorance, cultural norms, tradition & corporate power are tough forces to go up against when you're trying to promote social & ecological progress. People do need to be made aware animal abuse isn't cool or they'd happily stay blind, deaf & ignorant all their lives contributing to misery & needless environmental destruction. It's not like there's an incentive for the media or politicians to start educating the public about the stark truth when they're massively funded by industries that sell animal products & destroy the environment. How many times have you seen Earthlings, Dominion, Cowspiracy etc on TV? Never once that I can think of here in the UK.. Of course there's preachy or reactive vegans but in my experience for every one of those you'll find ten meat eaters who openly groan about, mock or taunt people that don't eat meat. Again, that's not a trending news story, it's been around & accepted all my life. The focus latterly is on vegans & that skews perception while the angry meat eaters get a pass. Maybe SOME ethical vegans aren't good at dialogue but you could equally say neither are plenty of meat eaters. Is one group worse or larger proportionally than the other? How can we even begin to measure it to compare? Vegans are a tiny minority compared with meat eaters & how many of the latter are willing to have open dialogue about the fact they contribute to animal abuse but just prefer not to think about it? Not many in my experience although it's getting much better.. thanks in part to the work of the vegan & environmental movements. But still.. the amount of vegans I meet who don't even want to say they're vegan because they don't want the negative label. Perception is everything. Sadly it rarely corresponds with the truth. I do see more understanding of veganism generally in the mainstream but it's still considered ok to mock vegans whereas that's not the case for meat eaters. Yes, many of them feel under attack because they're being challenged to cut down their meat & the perceived judgement they feel isn't helpful, but once they get past that & see the truth of what's happening ethically & environmentally that's really the lesser issue. Vegans were always going to be pariahs, but these stereotypes, true or not, need examining & discussing because for too long it's been the bigger, more powerful side spreading them. Nelson Mandela was considered a terrorist for a long time here in the UK up until people brought change. So yes informing each other through civil dialogue is key. If interested check out Earthling Ed's channel for one of the best ambassadors the vegan movement has.. lucid, civil & compassionate. Everything has a flipside, just needed to redress the balance a little there for anyone interested ;)

Did some (not my first time) last summer with my wife. Had bought a half ounce. Woke up the next day and there was only 1 gram left. 😅 I ended up eating 10.5 grams throughout the first 2.5 hours. It was the most euphoric experience I'll probably ever have in life. A lot of people think others exaggerat their experience as a way to advocate for legalization or what not. But I was in a whole other place, we laid in bed for the first 6 or so hours on a pile of blankets and pillows with a speaker under it and it was insane. Not going to bull shit, it got pretty scary the last 2.5-3 hours as it lasted close to 11 hours. 9 at night until 7:30 the next morning. I stopped taking my antidepressants and anxiety meds after that though. It really helps with mental health issues IMO and from personal experience.

I appreciate Rashad's point of view so much it is basically identical to my own experiences. The mushroom will coax a good whole hearted relationship with nature and animals. No one should eat animal meat its a terrible thing to do. Mushrooms will also make people sick sometimes because they eat wrong which makes their minds and bodies full of bad stuff that needs cleansed. One love Rashad may this knowledge break thru to many people thru this podcast!
