I love this adaptation! The lyrics are sung expertly and aren't sung faster than they need to to fit the pace of the song. Instead they add a new, different and harmonious layer to the music. Well sung! Well done!

honestly this is very impressive. this song isnt favorable for lyrical composition, yet this functions very well. bravo to you, and the excellent actress.

So much emotion behind these lyrics! Loved UTY, and seeing people express such passion for a fangame that's been 7 years in the works, it's just beautiful to see! Great job to you both, on lyrics and the voice acting!

To be fair, the kid was going to die either way. I don’t think a monster has ever survived Falling Down in _any_ AU - at least not without outside-context interference (i.e., Ink!Sans, 7-souled monster, The Man Who Speaks In Hands). And no, trust me when I say the amalgamates _absolutely_ don’t count. Even Undyne was on borrowed time after she took that first hit.

Imagine being her: Your husband is dead and you've just learned of his secret research Said research could prevent another massacre or worse Your daughter is begging you to help be a part of this You may not be able to find another monster to test this on She really wants to help Both of you are likely feeling surviour's guilt You trust your husband and yourself a little too much You remind yourself this is bigger than your family You decide to test it Things go really really wrong and you hate yourself for years because of it

[TLDR Ceroba and Asgore are similar in that their actions are not only fueled by grief and the need to repair their mistakes/keep their vow, but in that they have a chance to undo a horrible wrong done to their people - but at the cost of killing people from the group that took everything from them in the first place.] @@HumanOnEarth128 and then, you're given a chance to save her - though at a terrible cost. But, at the same time, you've lived with this guilt for so long, there's no undoing what's been done, and the good that comes out of it would (at least, in your perspective) outweigh the dark action that must be done. Really, I can see the inspiration the UTY team took from Asgore. Someone who, from the other perspective, would be seen as a tragic hero; someone who's not a bad person, but a good person driven to do bad things. In this case, the driving force is their grief, one lost her husband and is close to losing her only child, and the other lost both his children (presumably) on the same day. I understand why people have trouble looking past Asgore and Ceroba's mistakes, but, in their shoes, would we really have done any better? Besides the motivations of grief-fueled anger turned into the burden of leadership, and the desire to save our only child, there's also the deeper motivation. If we had a chance to set our people - who had been unjustly and forcibly exiled into a massive cave system - free, but at the cost of killing a few members of the group who originally imprisoned us, would we not be willing to pay that cost?

Well, now I want a battle between geno Ceroba and Undyne the Undying. Especially since while Undyne’s ATK and DEF are listed as 99, the ATK is about the same as Ceroba’s, and while Undyne’s HP is _significantly_ higher, Ceroba’s DEF is also significantly higher (possibly even proportionally higher, depending on the specific mechanics). Ceroba/Undyne: HP - 1,000/23,000 ATK - 13/12 DEF - 21/5
