I lost my brother to suicide 13 years ago. Two days before my wedding I thought about my siblings who would be in attendance at my sealing. I knew that he would not be physically there but I felt so close to him and knew that he would be there in spirit. A few minutes later I turned over the tie that I had bought for the wedding reception and the brand name was "Jonathan David," which is my brothers first and middle name who passed away. On the day of my wedding, I felt so close to him, and nine months later, our first child was born. We decided to have his middle name be Jonathan because of that closeness that I felt to him leading up to and on the day of my sealing. Families really are forever. Thank you for being vulberable by sharing your sacred experience with the world.

When tragedy happens the only peace we have is knowing that God is still with us. I lost a daughter when she was 37 to suicide. God gave me strength even in that darkness. I know you will see your son again, he is with our creator. I believe he is very happy, and when you see him again it will seem like he was gone for just a moment. I pray that you stay strong in your faith, and that you continue to be a blessing to all that listen to your story!😢

Losing a child is one of the most difficult things to endure. Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with this event. IT make me even more grateful for eternal families.

As a mom who has also lost one of my dear children, a son named Turner, I feel this message to my core. I too had the faith and knowledge that God could heal my son, but that miracle for him never came. God had other plans for our son, and yet I still believe in a God of miracles and am so thankful to have the knowledge of the Gospel in my life.

This made me and others cry. It's so beautiful.
