A Monster that Hunted Teen Girls

Ойын-сауық

In 2009, Amber Dubois vanished on her way to school. Over the next year, countless searches would find nothing. Then, almost exactly a year later, Chelsea King never returned from a jog in a local park. Word was out, and would eventually lead to a monster, John Albert Gardner III.

@Brix Broox in a manner of speaking. I'm not exactly sure what more could be done for him though. It seemed like his mother tried to get him help when he was growing up as he was seen by experts and on medication from very young. I don't know how much of it is her fear, hard to turn in her own son, her own cowardice, or her delusion that he did nothing wrong.

@Brix Broox Yes. No alerts on the parole violations, not a lot of mental health services that he probably needed years prior. I know in Los Angeles private behavioral units are often a revolving door. If she got him locked up or said he violated his parole what do you think would have happened? Probably he'd get out and come look for her and hurt her. Not saying its right just that I get it amd that its larger than just her.

Either way, crazy or not, when someone is a danger to society, lock them tf away. Paedophilia is sg that doesn't just go away bc he served a 5 year sentence. Honestly you are either both misinturpruting the respective comments or just want to bring up something completely different to each comment you responsded to. Scotty, Bianca is just saying that it's wrong to call women weak just because they arn't as strong as men, not trying to discuss biology. Bianca, 45 Jugga was saying that "a serial attacker of any sort general attacks those they believe to be vulnerable, a small woman on there own in a secluded area seems like an easy target and he'd have been very embarrassed to have been taken down by one as strong as she was, whether that be physicals strength or strength of will. -- Also it's much easier for serial attackers of any shape, size or gender to have the advantage as they know what tools they have and know when they'll be attacking. The victim isn't expecting any of that, so sometimes it's just dumb luck who survives and who doesn't

I LOVED that bit on the end, where the survivor asked him how his nose was! She must have broken it, and his eyes would have instantly swollen shut and filled with tears. It goes to show you that if you ask ten different psychiatrists to diagnose a patient, you'll get various diagnoses. This is the dirty underbelly of the profession. They all have their own point of view, and it's not an exact science. The guy even alerted authorities to the fact that he was a danger to himself, and to others before he committed these crimes. He clearly had a psychosis. To summarize your professional opinion of a psychopath as "he's just a bad guy" borders on malpractice. That is not a dagnosis, that's a personal/moral opinion. There is no clinical diagnosis known as being "just a bad person." Not everyone is good, or bad completely.

@@Technicallyimright he still killed 2 (possibly more judging from his response to the interviewer) women, wheter beta or not. I would also sue the hospitals and clinics he allegedly called and rejected him upon knowing he's a sex offender. And once again the justice system failed, it sucked back then, now there is no justice system in parts of America at all, Chicago for instance, oh and San Francisco - that city is lost. Portland - 800% rise in crime, NY and LA too. Sex offenders and people with psychotic diseases have the best time of their lives, walking and praying on people, all thanks to defunding the police. I wonder, if Mike ever gets doing crimes committed solely in 2019-21 he'd enough material till his old age. How many Gabby Petitos were out there, just not publicized, how many awful, gut wrenching, hideous things are going on in the hoods and some cases of supposed elites (people with lots of money) doing the same? How many more Epsteins and his killers are out there? Justice system always fails someone. They even released repeat offenders for political reasons at some point. I love when people say America is a country of law, justice etc. Clearly not. Oh, how in 20 years my views on USA has changed, from adoring to hating it. Why are sex offenders not having some sort of tracking device at all times? Same with repeat offenders? Because the government and the DOJ don't care. Weird I live in a country the size of a US state with 40 million people and these crimes are unheard of, or at least very rare. Is it culture? Police? Government which sucks even though they are conservatives, but trust me when I say the alternative is faaar worse. You basically should choose not left, center nor right, read what they are offering. If slandering and smearing, that means they are not worth the time of your day. Choose wisely. The justice system depends on it. The second was when she didn't get to testify against him because he pleaded guilty to skip the trial (victims' families' pain, MY ASS!), but he didn't realize she would still get to make a statement, which was surely infuriating enough, but then she made it into a joke on him, showing him and the world that not only was he powerless to silence her; he didn't even scare her enough to wipe the smirk off her face.
