Kausani is a beautiful hill station nestled in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand in the Bageshwar district at the height of 6200 ft above sea level. Kausani is 431 km from Delhi, 123 km from Nanital, 52km from Almora, 12 km from Someshwar and lies 60 km Ranikhet. Kausani is famous for its 360 Himalayan views, natural beauty, birds watching and peaceful environment. There are numerous sight seeing places which you can explore while in Kausani such as Laxami Aasharam, Anasakti Aasharam, Rudradhari falls and caves, pinneth trek, Starscapes observatory, Someshwar valley, Gwaldam, Kausani tea estate and shawl factory, Baijnath temple, Saryu and Gomti rivers sangam, Sumitranandan Pant meusum and beautiful Kosi river. Kausani also recieves snowfall in the winter months. There are lots of Homestays and staying options in Kausani to stay. Yes you can go in August. But it depends on the current weather report, which you can check on Google by typing "Kausani weather".. But between Jun to September it is very rare to find view of Himalayas..

Great video! Which month u visited? do u know how good it will be to travel in mid July? Any chance of seeing the mountains? Any fear of land slide in mid July?

Thanx .. we visited kausani in 2nd July 2023 and it was the starting of rainy season. And in 2023, rain starts heavily at the starting of the rainy season. So a little bit risk could be there if you visit mountains in 15th July.. not so much depending on weather. Snow capped Himalayas sighting is also rare in monsoon but atmosphere is so pleasant..🌸♥️🙏
