I love how they fade when you get close. As it means you can build stuff at cloud level without having to turn them off in order to see.

There’s actually a reason for the living entities in the game not being solid, I think. It has to do with how many mobs or entities you can have in one spot, as if they are all solid, they would all crush each other to death if left in a space. Also, imagine putting a few cows into a fenced pen, only for them to jump on each other and manage to escape. That would not be fun. Edit: Wow, likes. Lots of likes. Thanks! Second Edit: There’s now so many likes, they’re standing on top of each other now.

@@Moonlit-Mayhem I don’t think so. If it were to be equipable, it would probably not allow you to fly as much as just crash land, due to it not being able to create lift on either side.

Back in early versions people were solid for each other, and it made mining awful because you couldn't get past someone in a 1x1 tunnel.

Players were solid at a time when 1X1 tunnels were navigable? (Which is, AFAIK, only after update aquatic added fast swimming whose animation was then taken to be used for crawling prone.)

You can already put horses in boat on Bedrock. What we can't put in a boat are Pandas and Mooshrooms. At least in my experience. Edit: Axes in Bedrock can have Smite, Sharpness, and Bane of Arthropods as well. It's funny that a lot of these things that Java players complain about are features in Bedrock. Edit #2: AND Loyalty Tridents return when thrown into the End Void in Bedrock.

in java you can also get sharp, smite, bane enchantments on axes but you need to use a book to do it. You can't get it from the table.

I threw a small fit going from Bedrock to Java and losing the ability to move my horse via boat. It's such a useful feature, especially since horses can't swim.

fun fact that everyone probably knew already: the "do a barrel roll" elytra rotation was a feature in the legacy console editions

Personally there are 2 features I really want 1:You can wear banners as capes and the banner designs show on your elytra 2: Bed crafting recipe now includes a banner, the pattern is put on the sheets.

This is incredible, just goes to show that collective effort can make so much difference and make the game even more fun!

that solid mobs one blew me away. I've always wanted to do that for YEARS. definitely gonna use this Enhanced Vanilla Modpack

As a bedrock player its funny to watch people freak out over features that to my perspective have always existed. Like fire aspect being used to light campfires and nether portals and loyalty tridents coming back to you if you throw them into the void.

I love these showcase videos. Keep it up.

Hey Skip! Do you think maybe you could do a survival series or world (anything really) and maybe everybody will be able to see how these would be in survival! It would certainly be awesome to see this all in survival!

Ok they put slow camels into the game with not really any use other than new movement. But they couldn't have added the ability to ride an already loved mob into the game? I mean the concept of riding a sniffer is adorable in of itself. On top of it's sniffy behavior. Edit: I watched further, and watched the banner thing. If you could give it different blocks, and it would help locate structures. That would be awesome. Like different planks could help find different villages. Pillager banners would help find outposts. Stone brick could help find the stronghold. Nether bricks for a fortress. Blackstone bricks for a bastion. Snow for an igloo. Sandstone for a desert temple. Mossy cobble for a jungle temple or dungeon.
