Last game our QM team was 2 tanks, 2 healers and 1 DPS and we were still able to win even though we couldn't kill anyone the first half of the game. :D I like how HOTS is designed.

I just realized that Samuro is exactly like WC3 BM.. good early game, crazy harass, don't duel anyone fairly, ever. He's a beast once Grub starts to be literally in every lane all at once.

this will be obvious for wc3 players but anyone who doesnt play might be interested to know his abilities are the same as in wc3 as well - mirror image, crit and wind walk with bladestorm ulti. So cool they kept him almost identical to his WC3 incarnation, although there are some noticeable differences. They even added some of the voice lines like TASTE MY BLADE

well, actually Hots samuro has pretty weak early game and need lvl 16 to start being a beast. In warcraft 3 BM is strong early because of bonus damage coming from attacks while in windwalk. In hots he doesn't have anything like that and he really lacks dmg before he gets lvl 16 talent

​​@@krzysztofputerko1943it depends on the talents you pick at 1 and 7. If you pick Way of the Wind and Burning Blade, then yeah, your dps on heroes is not the greatest. But if you pick Way of the Blade and Crushing Blows, then you can easily get solo kills.

@@soak_king I actually did the math once and there is only one scenario where crushing blows are better than burning blade and it's if you can just perma attack enemy hero 14 times. About that point your PvP dmg with crushing blows becomes bigger than with burning blades. If you took way of blade than it's gonna be 12 attacks but it's still very rare to be able to do that. Maybe if you are focusing a Diablo in a teamfight which is griefing. Not to mention that in majority of matchups way of wind is absolutely mandatory in order to even be able to stick to enemies to dish out those autos. So you know, it doesn't matter that you deal more dmg if you can't auto attack anybody. Not to mention that if you don't need way of the wind, way of illusion outperforms way of blade in almost every aspect.

Just to know, they made for the quickmatch that game will give u tank, heal, range but ppl didnt like longer queues. So they make it it will try for short time, then it extends search and u get 4 assasins anyway. I remember QM was that like 1 week quite good when u got all 3 roles :) And in that time heroes was not balanced so i wanted longer queues for les stupid unplayable matches

Can also attack mov your clones somewhere so they don’t run out and die when you try the glitch to

Ah, a Grubby Samuro game!

Samuro has 3 buttons against Butcher's charge. It is advisable not to use all 3 at the same time and reveal yourself in the middle of a fight when you know he has his charge back. Keep one ready. (8:50) If you have to press all 3 buttons in order to do anything in the fight, it's probably better to not be there in the first place.

The thing is a lot easier when you realize that you do not need to hurry with Shift-D. That order is executed after Samuro finishes channeling, so it gives you comfortable 6 seconds window.

Probably you forgot to HOLD shift+d. And yes, the hearth trick got removed a couple months ago.

Hey Grubby, you introduced me to HOTS back close to when it came out, and I've loved it ever since. Quick question, as I never catch your streams - there's been a big trend in my rank recently of people threating to (and actually) AFK if certain heroes don't get picked/banned. Has this been happening to you on stream? Real sad about it, cause I've never seen the community be this bad before.

It's standard toxicity. ABK does not moderate the community and there is no system for the community to police itself, so trolls are fairly common. It's default internet toxicity, pretty much, like in the old Wild-West style days of the rise of multiplayer shooters. If people could cheat more, they would. I don't think it's above average, but it's pretty ubiquitous and very disrupting. The less friends you have in your party, the more likely it is to get trolls on your team, both the intentional ones and those whose mindset tells them they're the normal people. Don't let it get to you. It's disruptive and annoying, but that's really the cost to pay for competitive online games without moderation.

i love the part when grubby said "it's grubby time" and just started to "grubby" all over the place.

Love the channel and the streamer. But the clickbait title could be better.

Samuro always felt so underwhelming to me. W/out level 20 upgrade, his clones die too quickly to do any crazy plays. Even then, feels like most of his gameplay revolves around trying to sneak in a crit+W for some quick burst damage and then use the rest of his kit to run away.

They nerf the three blade build quite hard. Back then R make clone last longer and more hp just for Lv10. Now it only half the power and lv 20 restore the power back.

Samuro isn't played as a primary damage dealer nowadays even tho his theoriticall role is "melee assassin". He mostly soaks as much exp as possible since his wind walk and bladestorm allows him to double soak 2 lanes so your team can pressure one lane as 4 people. He also excels at capturing mercenary camps and distracting opponents.
