How come he isn't quoting from the Bible? The Bible says in the old testament that God gave that land to his people. It was called the promise land for a reason. Also remember that when God promised it to Abraham he also told Abraham that he would curse those that curse thee and will bless those who bless thee we can look through recent history as proof that God still keeps that promise and it was one of the main reasons the USA had prospered. If you notice, Mar Mari does not cross the line into being against Israel necessarily. He's more just on the side of peace, as is fitting for followers of Christ. There will come a day when Jesus will return to judge, but until then, all of this is happening because we are not taking up our cross and following him.

God made a unilateral promise to Abraham for the land that was not dependent on Israel but only Himself. However, self defense is against murder, as murder is premeditated meaning intentional aka, it = terrorism; killing in self defense as a last resort is not intentional. So true well said. O I do agree with you. However, if the Palestinians let go of all the Jews they have. This would end quickly. However, everyone on both sides is stubborn.... Peace can never prevail till we all have God in our hearts.. After having God, we will have basic humanity.AMEN.

The jews own Israel, not because of the historical record that they owned that land before the arab conquest, or the exile of the jews by the romans. But because Israel won the independecy war of 1948, and they have the cease fire signed by Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan in 1949. America or Australia doesn’t have a cease fire signed by indians or aborigenous people like Israel has with their neighbors who went to war against them. Israel has more legal right to their land than any other colonized country.

God owns the land but given to the children of Israel. It is mentioned through the whole Bible. The church has not replaced Israël

The message is alright for the individual Christian. But a political leader has a responsibility to take care of those under their leadership. A political leader also has a responsibility to implement earthly justice. Luke 3:14 (New International Version) 14 Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely-be content with your pay.” 1 Kings 20:42 (New International Version) 42 He said to the king, “This is what the Lord says: ‘You have set free a man I had determined should die.[a] Therefore it is your life for his life, your people for his people.’”

Everyone needs freedom

As much as I agree with Mar Mari Emmanuel in many of his teachings and I agree in the fact there is no peace without Christ Jesus, he needs to be reminded that throughout the history of the Jewish people for over 3700 years they have had to fight to survive. That is because All Mighty God chose them as his people and Satan the devil and lord of the earth has been trying to destroy the Israeli people and if he would ever be able to do that it would prove that the word of God the Bible is a lie. There is a saying "if the Palestinians would put down their arms there tomorrow there would be peace, If Israel put down their arms tomorrow there would be no Israel" According to the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament), when God called forth his people out of slavery in Egypt and back to the land of their forefathers, he directed them to kill all the Canaanite clans who were living in the land (Deut. 7.1-2; 20.16-18). The destruction was to be complete: every man, woman, and child was to be killed. The book of Joshua tells the story of Israel’s carrying out God’s command in city after city throughout Canaan.
