Wow... I was totally unaware of this... I always assumed that it is normal. I never recognized it as a gift. You can’t glow & shine all of time & there’s nothing wrong with feeling dark. I wouldn’t fight feeling dark. You can discover some things about yourself in darkness that you wouldn’t have possibly seen in your glow. I’m imagining the way a forest trail looks & feels when the sun is out & when night falls. Different sounds, different things come out only at night, different vibe, can be a little scary but once your eyes adjust to the darkness, you’re able to see the very same path you comfortably & confidently walked in the daylight. It’s still the very same trail. Sometimes you get a nice cool moonlight to help you see the trail. The sun eventually comes back but you won’t be afraid of seeing it setting if you understand who you are in your darkness. Plus sometimes a cool moon appears & lights your path. I slowly accept my self that I came to this world with an mission, i use to think I’m a healer but now I know for sure I am a healer. Sometimes I feel like my presents can also trigger peoples old wounds. I promise I’m not doing anything to want people to feel certain way . Normally they pour loads informations on me, sometimes the information are so negative and sad it’s hard for me to handle, I don’t go to peoples houses anymore if someone started telling me negative sad things and they are not open for healing. I would feel trapped and drained .sometimes is hard for us healers because we are human too , Being a healer you gotta be bullet proof and strong so you can help people around you

Jocelyn - You expressed my feelings so well. I also get overwhelmed when someone dumps all their negativity on me and are not willing or open to healing and doing their work. It frustrate me to experience that and after a while I just stay clear of them because it pain me to witness that continuously.

This is so very true. This journey has been a long one but still enlightening none the less. I’m 21. No matter what I do I’m doing these things. When I was working at a grocery store. When I went to a dance class. In my family. In my friendship. In an Uber. Even in acquaintances that I wasn’t necessarily the most fond of. I’d been running from it and I didn’t even realize it. Even when it did hit me.. officially which was that day at the dance class when a woman randomly opened up to me.. it hit me and I got nervous... I’m tired of running. Even when I think I’m running away I’m running right into it just in a different way. I have a story and I have things to share. Creativity, thoughts, and more. I’ve been starting to share it more and more on my social media. Even if it’s clips of other people like yourself speaking or making healer type post. I’ll repost it. Just in anyway I can help to spread it. I feel like the lesson for me and probably many others is to know how to balance that creating healthy boundaries and taking space for self when I need it.
