These ppl who entertain this narrative are simply infatuated with being victims.only blacks in America cry about reparations. When races the world over have been enslaved and massacred exponentially more than any Africans EVER were in America. They were freely given while we had our villages burned to the ground and any survivors taken to foreign places.

@@Bulvan123 how unfortunate that in comforts of “your world”you cant see beyond the entitlement of money made on the backs of slaves. Slavery wasn’t a business agreement for slaves therefore you are comparing apples to oranges. Someone who agrees to pack pencils for an wage equal to their labor is what you are describing. Sorry to inform you that wasn’t the case with slavery in early America. There was much more LOST on the side of the slaves and a strange unhealthy mentality gained by slave owners and their descendants that someone absolves them of any ability to recognize the faults of the time. Seems weird to me.

What about the INDIGENOUS FOLK. they don’t like to talk about US. WHY THOUGH. well because BACK PAY IS WAY CHEAPER THAN TO PAY FOR THE LAND COSTS. SO DONT TALK ABOUT THE INDIGENOUS FOLK. EXAMPLE. THREE SISTERS. CORN SQUASH BEANS. NATIVE PLANTING TECHNIQUES.

My family has been in America since before the Revolutionary War and had many soldiers who fought to protect our freedom over the past several centuries. Nowhere in my family's history is there any mention of slavery. I understand the argument for reparations but think it should be limited to families that truly participated in such an atrocity

It’s not just about slavery, there was Jim Crow segregation, etc. sir you as one individual do not have to give any money out of your pocket. It’s hilarious that you are so triggered that you brought that up from this video.. The United States had slaves throughout the US not just in the south also that free labor lasted over 200 years. From 1619 to 1865 and beyond for some. Not to mention that humans (slaves) were sold and traded as a commodity on the stock market.. the industry of this country was dependent on the free labor of enslaved people. It’s sad that you don’t feel that there should be restitution for this country’s serious atrocities to one group of people because you are not entitled to receive it as well.. I could write more about this comment but if do better was a person sir that would be you.

There is something wrong with people who constantly living in the past. And then enabling them to get our laws passed to favor one race over another or others. The reason I am saying this is because in the Bible in Lev.23-25; it is about the Sabbath's. And in the 50th year is the year of restoration. That means that the land is returned back to the original owners descendents. And here in America it could be the native American people. Or the original one that had bought the land. So as much as they want the land, it is all the more, it will be restored back to the original owners descendents. And it is a sin to covet what doesn't belong to you. Ex.20:17; 1Cor.6:9,10; Gal.5:19-21; Eph.5:3-15; Col.3:3-11; 1Tim.1:9,10; covetous people have no part in the kingdom of heaven.

Well they need to be paid for their service since you don't think they should have land. They are asking for land because that what was promised to them. You should look up 40 acres and a mule...since they can't get it then they should get paid right?? . Also, do you tell jews to forget what happened to them and don't live in the past??? Do you tell people who wave the confederate flag to not live in the past and move on? According to you living in the past is wrong , so that includes the Bible because all of that is from the past correct?? Lol. You're quoting something from the past but then telling people not to live there, seem like something is wrong with instead of them. Also, not everyone is Christian so you can't use the Bible to justify anything. Also, it says a lot in the Bible that a lot seem to skip and choose the verses that work for them.

@@sheenaperez1882 My Jewish Grandfather who was used as slave labor in concentration camps received reparations from Germany. I have not & will not receive any reparations from Germany because I was never persecuted by them. Btw, in Judaism (where this whole concept comes from) the Sabbatical & Jubilee years only apply in the Holy Land.
