Yes here's just one tiny example. I watched several videos of a popular song artist for many hours. I was so fixated, that the ear worm was so present! I slept with his songs going in my head, I awoke with his songs in my head. After three days it felt like torture! I asked God to take it away. He said, replace every torturing thought with a comforting one. So every time those songs would come in, I'd immediately replaced it with a song of praise. The song was OCEANS, BY HILLSONG. Never had that problem again.☺

I met my current boyfriend this year February 2019 after finding out a scumbag of an ex was cheating on me. After that heartbreak, I literally said out loud this year was mine. After the past 7 months, no doubt this is the man who I will marry. 2019 has been the best year of my life but I had to claim it.

I appreciate all that you’ve done, and I hope your retirement has been well.

Mr. Steve.. I am Hendry, came from an indigenous tribe in Malaysia, Borneo island.. i get test result with severe depression.. Everyone around me they hardly support me.. including my family.. but when i hear your speech about "Imagination is the preview of what God wanna give you", "Kill a big dream tell it to a small minded person" and how you talk about the bible verse about gift (Proverbs 18:16) .. i cried.. alone.. i nvr knw the reason why i live.. I think of ending my life sir.. but with your speech, im slowly getting back up again.. ive been struggling financially so much, that i am still depending with my parents.. i blame myself every single day.. in my healing process, i start to recognize my gift and im doing my business in selling handicraft for my tribe.. again Steve, I thank you.. i dnt expect you to read this, because you are a busy man.. but God sent you to save my life.. Dude, he could not be any more right. He is spot on it completely. It took me 6 years of doing things my way before I realized that in that whole 6 years it don't matter what the circumstance was, or who I dated or who I hung out with, the ONLY common denominator was me. I knew it the whole time. I spent almost 10 years just going with the flow of life. The end of my last serious relationship caused something to happen in my head and I couldn't remember how to just let go completely and give God the wheel and keep my hands in my pocket. Sometimes He's gotta take you through some rough spots, but have faith and DO NOT reach for the wheel. You have no idea what's on the other side of the bullshit. I have such a long story and I've been tight with God my whole life. At the end of that 6 years I remember the day. It was July 4th 2016. The night before I had a 2 hour shouting match on the phone with a girl I dated 15 years prior just because she was drunk and decided to call me and stir shit up. On the 4th of July 2016, I told God I'm done trying it my way. I knew the whole time I should've just let God have it to begin with, but I couldn't let it go. It's not because of a lack of faith, my faith is on point and it grows daily. That 4th of July I took a break from dating, stopped going out completely and stopped hanging out with all but my 2 or 3 closest friends. Most of my time I spent alone in the last 4 years. I spent thousands of hours figuring out my mind and that first day, I already felt much better but that feeling of relief and happiness grows by the day too. The whole last 4 years I've been happier than I've ever been in my whole life and I have had some great fuckin times in my life. Just turned 39 and after 4 years of working on my mind, I finally understand what he's saying here. I made a choice 4 years ago to remove all negative talk from my mouth and replaced it with positive talk. Then I removed all negative chatter from my mind and then replaced it with positive. It took me some time because I had to actively monitor everything that went out my mouth and through my mind. Progress was slow at first, but as of the beginning of this year {2020} I have had a shit load of realizations and learned a lot of things God taught me and I now literally feel like I'm on antidepressants but I'm not. My body naturally makes me feel that way I am so happy that if I was doing any better I don't think I could handle it. All of that 6 years was absolutely vital and it had to go JUST like it did. Thankfully God made sure I've known that everything happens for a reason ever since I was a kid. It didn't make me feel better in the bullshit, but I was blessed and fortunate to know it in the back of my mind. That's probably the only thing that got me through. Now it's been 4 years of just everything is perfect and God still finds ways to make it better and better every single day. Society makes people subconsciously default to negative when anything happens that isn't really great. Life itself makes people default to negative all the time. I did it for 35 years. However, through rigorous work on my mind I have reconditioned my mind to default to positive without even thinking about it. This year I walked away from the girl of my dreams because God told me I can either have her or have my fate and change the world. No girl is worth giving up my dream for, so I picked fate unanimously. I lost my Grandpa this year. Couldn't see him the last 3 months of his life because he was in a nursing home and due to the virus we couldn't see him there or in the ER. By the time they cleared us and told us to come see him because his time was near, we missed him by 40 minutes. Less than an hour. I saw him anyways it it looked bad. He had alzheimers and dimentia to a degree so I will never know if he understood why we didn't see him at all or if he thinks we just dumped him off and forgot about him. Even though that part sucks, my mind automatically defaulted to the following thoughts, "man I am so blessed to have had an amazing person as a Grandpa, not everyone gets to have that. Man I had him in my life and a part of my life for almost 40 years, many don't get that. Man, I learned an awful lot from this guy, he's my biggest hero and my favorite person in the world. Man, I got to have him in my life regularly and constantly for 40 years. Man, I got to sneak him off to the gambling boats all the time for like 15 years because my Grandma hated him going and we went a lot." That's all that came to mind. I figure for God to bless me like that with my Grandpa in so many ways, who the fuck am I to complain that God called him back home?? I'd feel like an asshole complaining because I had a great life with my Grandpa in it. That euphoric feeling never wavered at all. I said on new years eve this is my year one way or another. Not one thing that I had planned for this year happened AND things pretty much went the opposite direction from what I planned and guess what, it's still the best year of my life and I got 4 months to go! See, I knew since I was a kid God put me here to change the world. That's a big miracle so if he has to take me through some rough patches, bring it. All I want is what God wants for me. I tell him the things I want, but I always finish by saying, if that's not what you want for me or if it will keep me from changing the world, then I don't even want to want it, period. I got all I need and even some things I want, but my goal in life isn't to buy shit. My goal in life is to make as big of a positive impact on as many people as possible before I die. I'm already on my way.
