I think it’s wonderful that you’re throwing the food/bananas far away in the background and not only feeding the monkeys that come near your van. The low rankers Will be in the background in the trees or bushes. The lower the rank the further back they will be. The higher ranking monkeys will come around your van to get the food but the lower ranking monkeys will stay far away in the background because if they came near the food the high-ranking monkeys would beat them up badly. It’s nice that somebody who feeds monkeys understands the monkeys ranking system and doesn’t forget about the low ranking monkeys who are ones that rarely get anything and they are the ones that need it the most. That’s why low ranking mothers babies have such a hard time surviving and a lot die. Low rankers don’t have enough food to produce enough milk for their baby’s. All the higher ranking monkeys get the food first, they can produce the milk needed and so their babys survive. Thank you for understanding monkeys ranking system most other feeder don’t bother to do the research.

Just a note monkeys love, really love cooked rice. It is not great as a everyday diet but for what you do it would be fine. I don’t know why monkeys love cooked rice and rice noodles it is not something ever found on the wild but they love it all the same.

At 8:31 their is a female monkey with a vaginal tumor (looks like) they can pop out very quickly, with in few hours. It must of just happened because it does not look Necrotic yet. If someone does not contact any organizations that help injured monkeys she’ll be dead in less than two weeks. The operation is not that difficult and will take a vet about a half hour, that would save her life. It may be too late but I hope somebody contacts the authorities because it’s better she be put to sleep then suffer the way she’s going to suffer with that tumor as it rots and may be maggot Infested in a couple days.
