I've never seen Simnel cake here in Australia. I don't think most Australians have heard of it. I wish we had even half the choice of Easter eggs that you have over in England. Thanks for the hunt.

Oh Miss Q, what a fabulous vlog. First off, you looked most splendid doing your introduction, and then wonder of wonders, a hopping Easter Bunny disguised as Queenie, hopping around the tube etc, a Royal thumbs up to that. The Selfridges goodies looked amazing, very surprised to be honest, although personally, I would go to the actual Charbonnel et Walker shop in the Royal Arcade for the full C&W experience. Harrods were, well Harrods. Now Fortnum & Mason, our favourite corner shop, wonderful, superb, fantastic. I really couldn't bring myself to eat cute little bunnies, and especially a chocolate hen called Henrietta. Did you see what was embroidered on Paddington Bear's coat? PB, as in Prince Barry ha ha. Too many wonderful goodies, and those carrots look amazing. A massive thank you for the vlog, loved it m'dear. xx

Tomorrow is five weeks until Good Friday so this delightful info is just in time! Selfridge's white chocolate items look great fun with their giddy packaging. Oh, now I want a Venchi bunny! One of their blue stracciatella towers would also be welcome. Then on to Harrod's where some of their jellies might cut all the Selfridge choc I just ate ... oh, hot cross bun curd! must have some of that for afternoon tea ... I made a Simnel cake years ago ... I gave up chocolate for Lent & Easter seems quite far away ... Fortnum & Mason my absolute favourite place ... oh, I want a gold egg! Sicilian hazelnut & blonde chocolate!

Oh, Queenie ! I loved, loved, loved this vlog. Now I'm craving a chocolate bunny. Or two 😅 The packaging is just as enticing as the sweets. Such beautiful presentations. I had never heard of a Simnel cake before. And now I need one. Do you know if Fortnum and Mason ship to the States ? I want to be the hit at Easter dinner this year. Lots of Love 💝

I'm not so sure my purchases will make it to Easter! Haha!
