Very lovely place. I wouldn’t like to swing from the rafters trying to dust it, nor try to heat it tho

Coffee in the egg chair or an egg in the coffee chair… I’d happily take either.

Dont understand why people like big open spaces! Its much better to have separate rooms, especially the kitchen as you dont want the smell of your cooking wafting all over the place, also, how awful it would be if a fire broke out!

I can think of lots of problems; heating, cleaning, etc, but if you can afford a £2m+ conversion then I guess you can pay for the rest as well?

7: 50 dreadful, should have been left as a barn

  • @johnstoned6768

Sorry but this barn is not practical. Held together with metal rods and cross beams. The convected heat flow around the building will cause a draft on the groundfloor and the echo gives no privicy. It is a very dark building all lights on despite the sun outside. To me its a very bad modern design with no thought for the future occupiers abd how you could live there. I would not have it as a gift sorry

I’d agree with most of what you said until you said you wouldn’t take it as a gift.

@@liamwalters5029 As an old bricklayer I've worked on lots of old barns it would be like buying a bucket with a hole in the maintenance on a 200 year plus farm building would be never ending and people seem to forget they where built for animals and storage they don't make good dwellings
