Wow. Puts my M5 Connect into the shade.

Heard rumors that a major trolley manufacturer is working on a AI-driven system with lidar sensors and a submeter GPS receiver. Autonomous driving and follow me functionality is achieved by connecting the system to the motor controls. In a ‘programming round' you can define parking postitions at each green and tee box and route safe paths around bunkers and hazards on the display. When playing an 'advance function’ drives the trolley to the next parking postition, so e.g. when hitting the green from 160 yards you could take out the putter and press advance and the trolley moves to the position beside or behind the green. From there to the next tee and so on. With the additional remote control one could still pause the autonomous driving when e.g. a playing partner hits his ball. Then just press continue and the trolley advances on its own. Of course one can always steer by hand in uncertain terrain. This is probably the future of electric trolleys.

There are 36 and 18 hole battery options but the battery life on my 18 hole battery is great. I feel like I could easily get 36 holes especially on a short or flatter course. I always charge my battery overnight but I think Motocaddy recommend at least 8 hours for a full charge.

Had mine 2 months now and it won't pick up any courses..all it does is searching.tried to reset but it won't even take my name of screen either.no videos out there yet to try n solve this.any help thanks

Where does the umbrella holder fit?

Same place as before but with a new attachment holder I believe.

Does it tell you which club to use for the required distance

When using the shot measuring distance feature, does it measure the distance as the crow flies or does it take it from the path of the trolley (if looking for a playing partners ball you may be zig zagging rather than walking in a straight line)

@David Lancaster I think you would just use it in situations where you could travel straight to your ball. It is to give you an indicator of how far you have hit each shot should you want to measure it.

@@hannahholdenNCG Fortunately this is NOT TRUE. Motocaddy thinks logically and use already built-in GPS to measure distances (not some wheel spinning or whatever bullsh*). Motocaddy Instruction Manual quote: "Distances are measured using GPS co-ordinates, which means that you do not need to walk in a straight line between shots to provide an accurate measurement."

great review, how would you compare to the ct6, is the gps function better in MK to PK, app connectivity and general quality of the screens in the sun, are they both visible to the same levels ?

There is a new screen in the CT6 this year which is the same as the FX so in terms of quality, size and visibility are very similar. The MK is touchscreen so you can move the pin around which I really like.

@@hannahholdenNCG which trolly would you choose as the best between the CT6 and the M5, I hear MK have better after market care compared to PK. being the same price im torn, ct6 however seems to fold better than the m5. would love your insight !

could someone tell me if spending the extra on DHC is worth it please? Im not sure ill be going on very hilly courses. Thanks. Great video btw. Will be subscribing. New golfer here so all help is needed.

Which one would you recommend between PK FX7 GPS and Motocaddy M5 GPS? I know both are good and it is difficult to say. Which GPS is easier to use or more practical? I like the score card in FX7 but also i like the pin selection from M5. Which is more solid in terms of structure (stability etc)? Thank you!

I probably prefer the styling, structure and wireless battery of the FX7. The GPS are similar in terms of data but I do really love the pin feature on the M5 which probably makes it better in that sense, also motocaddy have just added cellular data to the trolleys so soon you will be able to use the touchscreen for the whole hole to measure to doglegs or bunkers ect...

Thank you very much for your opinion. It is still difficult for me to decide. The M5 can be charged with the battery in the trolley, right? I think that is not possible with the FX7. FX7 looks stronger in video but it is something i can not probably judge through the videos i have seen in KZread. I will probably buy one of these two but both have pros and cons.... i doń’t know which one i should chose. What about folding the? M5 looks smaller when folded, specially because of the frontal wheel, is that right? Thank you verd much for your help

@@tomasp3220 Yes you can charge the M5 battery in the trolley but not the FX7 battery. Yes I would say the M5 folds down a little smaller due to the front wheel folding under. Maybe try go to a big store and look at them in person that might help you choose! I really think it comes down to what is most important for you in a trolley overall and go for the one with the best features in that area! Hope that helps

A review needs to show how it actually performs on a course. Show the speeds, the dhc, the brake, etc. Talking about the tech does me no good.

The trolley has no electric brake, huge let down.
