It's gross, disrespectful, and nasty! Losing your mother, one that was there for you and loved you is one of the greatest losses you will suffer. I've lost mine and it was devastating. I still have moments when I'll miss her presence 8 years later. That was just a heartless, soulless statement. I don't care if it's " "true"

I was thinking the same thing. Not to say that I didn't like Judge Faith, but this court needs someone real tough and firm like Judge Star or Judge Lynn or even Judge Maybelline! I think Judge Faith was very "soft spoken" towards the litigants but the aforementioned women being a sense of "sternness" (vocally) that Judge Faith didn't bring to the table.

@@valholmes6073 I used to try to get into her previous show but I just couldn't catch on with her. She seemed somewhat firmer with people when working on small cases as opposed to divorced couples. Maybe it was because she was newly married that I really couldn't get into her being the Judge. Maybelline, Star, and Judge Lynn are the "seasoned veterans" in life and marriage, so maybe I was more convinced with their advice and firmness towards the couples

"Don't let the straight hair and lashes fool you." Star Jones is perfect for this role. She's relatable, fair and gives excellent advice. I'd like to see a follow up on this couple.

Same! I have seen a few episodes with Judge Faith, but it felt wrird because I knew her from the paternity court and idk.. it didn't feel right? Just got notifications about divorce court again and gave it another try and Judge Star is fabulous. In style and in how she behaves and handles the court! What an impressive woman.

I like that she had a brief conversation with her about her mom and established common ground, that shows empathy.

For someone who wasn't married until recently... Star seems to have the experience needed for the job,

I'm really enjoying Judge Star Jones on this show. She's doing an excellent job!

Typical narcissistic behavior. “I want to make our relationship work.” The name calling, the gaslighting, the disrespect shows otherwise. I know it all too well and the best decision I ever made was to get up with my daughter and walk away from that toxicity. It’s never gonna change, they’ll apologize one minute and when they feel like they got you again, they go back to doing the same things that made you walk out the first time. She’ll take him back, cause she’s loves him and she sees his “potential” to be a good man. She thinks that if she shows him that she can contribute too, he’ll change. Reality is he won’t change and her safest bet is to get as far away as possible. Therapy would help her as well, especially for her postpartum depression and dealing with her mother’s passing. I’m praying for her strength and perseverance.

Although I was very angry to see him call his significant other a lousy bitch, my heart broke 💔 when I saw her cry because she did not deserve to be treated like that. She’s in an abusive and controlling relationship and she doesn’t even know it. That’s not love; that’s violence. She deserves better than him. I hope that she gets her real estate license and shines! She’s worthy of happiness and more.

He’s nothing without her. He didn’t like that she was getting help so that she doesn’t need him. It’s a power struggle. Once she passes and becomes independent, he would be the type of man to beg to have her back. He knows what he is doing and guys like him don’t deserve even the light of day.

I’m afraid for her and that child. Providing is so much more than the financials.

I got that too. He said "she's threatening to take my son". He only cares for the child that he'll bring up to also disrespect women.

There's alot I could say about that ZESTY 🍕💩 and his mammy but I'll just say this. If a person treats you poorly during your lowest moments , don't expect much else. Any abuse you suffer after that is on you. RUN!

Judge Star Jones is so inspiring. Her strength of character is through the roof. What concerns me is how much of this toxicity can she endure? To confront such arrogant disdain in such a forthright manner is so courageous, and to do it with articulate communication in amazing. I do wonder what kind of emotional toll it takes. I hope she goes home to a doting husband, adoring dog, and luxurious bubble baths.
