I was in Manila working when Yolanda hits my town Tacloban. During that time, I could not reached my family through text/call so I went on leave and at once travelled to Tacloban only to find out that my mother and 2 brothers were missing and never to be found 😭😭😭 It's been 8 years but I still dream happy moments with them but when I wake up, that's the time that I wept and cry so much.😭😭😭💔 It's so heartbreaking💔💔💔 I'm a Psychologist but I'm treating myself of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and nothing works except to PRAY and cast out my emotions to GOD. In him I find comfort, strength, and relief. I trust GOD that even if I don't understand I will continue depending on him for He is in control!. My 3 lost loved ones are my main motivation until this time why I'm still pursuing the dream to be a DOCTOR, not just a doctor but a SURGEON, not just a surgeon but a HEART SURGEON!! for my 3 lost loved ones, for the country and for God's glory!! It's a LIFETIME PURSUE! No matter what, whatever it takes I will never give up!!!!

True.. the audacity
I am a yolanda survivor and I was at home with my two other siblings and papa.. Luckily the water didnt reach our area becoz if it happens, we wont be able to survive as our house is only bungalow.. However, we were also located on the center of the storm, our place is just a nearby town to tacloban and our house was completely damaged that we no longer have space to sleep at night after the tragic event.. Fortunately we have this very kind neighbor who let us sleep and gave shelter until we were able to compose a little room in our damaged house the following day.
It felt like only yesterday.
3 years old palang ako nung dumating ang bagyong yolanda kaya wla akong natatandaan😢
Dahil sa CLIMATE CHANGE Tayo din ang Sasalo sa kapabayaan natin sa ating kalikasan
I remember around 6 am in the morning the wind is start to howling until it getting stronger and stronger the wind is so strong and the soroundings is zero visibility and completely white because of the heavy rain and strong winds. I remember when we are evacuating to our neighbors house we found it difficult were just crawling the ground while the debris (yero, kahoy and etc) nag liliparan sa paligid namin. I saw how our bahay Kubo simply hit by the strong winds and it passes our roof to the other side. During those times we all think we're ganno all die .
Yolanda survivor ako😢😢😢
i was 5 when it hit and i didnt even know that this happened i was just playing on an ipad being happy but on the other side of the country this is happening.
I didn’t experience Typhoon Yolanda, I was not born yet during that time.
I was a baby when that happened I was in Manila. My family survived it.
Nakadto kmi balay han am tiyo..dda mismo harane kmi hin dagat..kan naukoy man kmi ..ligid hin dagat..ha san jose Tacloban.
I still remember when the wind gust, despite us being in an area under signal #2, some corrugated iron roofs would just fly away.
I was at our lolo's house when Yolanda hit. My tita was sick and my dad was taking care of her. For me, sleeping at that time was a big struggle. There were no electricity. I'm used to electricity that's why i couldnt sleep. I was using a piece of cardboard as a fan so i wouldnt sweat. I was scared at that time. I had a felt in myself that the roof of our house would fly. I could hear trees falling, the sound of the howl of the strong winds, Yolanda truely is unforgettable. I hope no supertyphoons will ever hit our land yet again.
Im still wondering san kaya napunta yung mga bangkay ng missing 😢 RIP sa lahat ng namatay. 2023 now naaalala ko pdin to 😢
i was in CDO During Yolonda Cause Yolonda or Haiyan Ddn't even Reach us But its So heartbreaking for others To Experience that to And A BIG BIG BIG struggle for them and i was still in my moms Stomach that time

When i was 2 years old, signal #4 was raised due to Typhoon Haiyan. Then, i was confused on what was happening, but i saw everything just by the window. The wall surrounding the lot was rocking, getting ready to fall anytime. Some parts of that wall even started to fall off one by one. Leaves littered the ground while our family was keeping themselves and me safe. I wasnt allowed to go out for months, because of the nails and metal roofs that also flew with the typhoon. Almost 9 years later, Super Typhoon Rai came along. I was 11 years old at that time. Now i understood what was going on. The same thing happened with Typhoon Haiyan 9 years ago. I saw everything. Power went out, intense rain, and leaves from tall trees were falling. Same thing occured with a much weaker storm in 2022, but with Tropical storm Megi. PTSD hit me at that exact moment when i checked out the window. I asked, "How many times are we going to be like this? Is this gonna stay forever? We have experienced too much! When is this going to end!?" I was worried and scared just for a tropical storm, but made me think of the stronger ones. So i just hoped that this will end soon. And it did. No super typhoons hit my area, until Typhoon Nalgae appeared. But then, i told myself to calm down, and this will end soon. Up to this day, it still remains as a memory which will never be forgotten.
im in malolos and it was not there
I was only 3 or 2 but it was scary my nanay told me and to this day my nany Stell remder it
I was just born
I was just 3 years old in pangasinan 🐸
This is what will happen to you if you voted the wrong person..they will just let the donated goods rot rather that giving it up to the needy..and how about the monetary donations?..vanished in thin air with no valid explanation...VOTE WISELY SO IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN... let us all pray that the PHILIPPINES will rise again..
hala nakita ako ng vid mo
Never forget what happened to Typhoon Rai aka Odette Dec2021 which is much worser that Typhoon Yolanda, asan ang Gobyerno? Asa pa more...

This is the reason why people now choose BBM to dont repeat the slow response of aquino government

Not born
People are already suffering. Then there's Mr.Pnoy and his "Puro Papoging" Sec. Mar Roxas, took advantage of the situation and started a picture taking just to make sure they have "Resibo" that they are indeed at ground zero. lol. and people are still voting their minions, LenLen and LP company because why not? For the clout.
