Yes, that is Bluey’s kid in the episode Surprise. There’s some theories going around saying that it is McKenzie and Bluey‘s kid.

Chilli says Bingo is out back, so maybe it is Bingo’s child. Bandit’s reaction made me think he knew exactly what was happening, like he knew the child was at their house already. I’d love this to be Bluey’s baby though and that’s sort of the most obvious conclusion to draw, but I’d also kind of love it if Bandit and Chili had a surprise baby. Though they’d be pretty old for that considering they grew up in the 80s and their own children are very young, so they’re probably in their mid-40s during the episodes where Bluey and Bingo are little. That would mean a surprise pregnancy likely in their fifties, not impossible but very unusual. But also Stripe is the youngest of the Heeler brothers and it’s not clear how old Trixie is, so I feel like it’s also possible they had a surprise baby that is getting babysat, potentially by Bingo who was already at the house?

@@twist_ending7545 kinda does tho. Mainly because of how similar toddler Mackenzie is to the kid we see in the episode. The ears, the coat, the implications we get in the show from time to time. Well whoever the father is, it was cool to see the adult bluey n her baby!

I'm going to assume the time gap in Suprise is 25 to 30 years. Bluey has her own gray hairs showing.

I think it's definitely Bluey's child, and not Bandit and Chilli's. The gray in Bluey's fur indicates that she's probably in her thirties already - we know from "Baby Race" that Bandit and Chilli didn't get their gray hairs until after Bluey herself was born. The child looks to be about Bingo's age from the main series (~3-5 years old), which fits pretty naturally with Bluey's apparent age in the flash forward. Personally, I think the "it's Bingo's kid" idea, while cute, just isn't supported by the narrative. The entire episode is about Bluey considering the notion of having a child, and the future child shows up doing exactly the same thing Bluey did in the earlier episode. Every storytelling trick in the book short of Bluey awkwardly expositing to her own dad is being used to convey to us, the viewers, that this is Bluey's child. As for who the father is, I'm happy treating that as Schodinger's Box until/ unless the writers decide to someday clarify it. It seems pretty clear that they intentionally used attributes from both Mackenzie and Jean-Luc in the child's design, and that still leaves wide open the possibility that it was someone else entirely.

That mystery heeler kid has a flopped ear like Uncle Stripe! It doesn’t look like Makenzie's flopped ear.

Doesn’t even matter. Barky Boats drops pretty clear hints who Bluey is likely to end up with.

It would be Bluey’s kid. Someone pointed out that only the parents have the white lines in their fur (which is why Rad didn’t, despite being the oldest). Both Bandit and Chilli have the extra line around the mouth showing their older and probably grandparents now. Also Bluey would be at least 21 (i reckon probably at least close to 30) at the end, as when you see the scrolling pictures beside the door when Chilli opens it, you see Bluey in a graduation hat, which in Australia happens when you graduate university. Kids looks to be about 4 or 5 maybe. The speculation is whether it’s McKenzie’s or Jean-Luc’s kid. I’m personally hoping for Jean-Luc simply because it reflects my own journey of falling in love with an international.

I loved that episode sm! Jean-Luc is such a sweetheart and I believe that after meeting Bluey, he learned English. I love McKenzie, but (I haven’t watched enough vids with McKenzie), I don’t think that it’s McKenzie’s kid bc I haven’t seen too many interactions that suggest that. I’ve seen it with Jean-Luc tho.

I think a major clue is the gun toy. Bluey says she borrowed it from a boy named Chucky, then later we see, presumably, her child with a similar toy. Maybe Chucky is the father? Someone we haven't met yet.

In Australia theres alot of random organisations that do House raffles. They usually have kiosks at malls etc

When you look to the left of the door as Chili's walking towards it, you can see the picture changing to Bluey's graduation (so it's likely Post-College aged Bluey)

I personally think the kid could be either Jean-Luc's or McKenzie's. However, I'm team Jean-Luc until, when/if they confirm it. I think they may end up leaving it ambiguous, as it might make some people mad to have it confirmed to not be the one they were rooting for. Leaving just this vague is perfect because each person can have their own head-canon. My head-canon is Jean-Luc because they got each other even with the language barrier. They ended that episode with the tree they planted together growing. And both of them coming back to that same tree. It's just so sweet that even after years apart, they basically knew where to find each other. That, among other reasons is why I believe this little Finucen (that's the name I am going with) is Bluey and Jean-Luc's.

Surprise was definetly..A surprise haha. But yeah its intresting to see technically another episode on what its like to have kids, if we count Baby Race (tho I think theres another one). And yeah it definetly is Blueys child, I know everyone is going "dad is Mackenzie or Jean-Luc" (I like to think the former, partially what weve seen of their friendship and the flopy ear. Even tho all puppies have flopy ears so it might raise up later in life) but here is also me, the science nerd thinking "Huh I wonder if they get some of that purpeish grey hue from their great grandparents, given that Nana especially has those colours"

I watched the Italian version episode of Bluey, "Surprise," because I'm Italian. Regarding Bluey's child, we practically know nothing; we don't know if it's a boy or a girl, nor its name. So, I'm aware that Mackenzie and Jean Luc are two favored candidates to be the yet-to-be-revealed father of Bluey's child. Mackenzie has a high likelihood of being Bluey's husband and the father of the pup because he actually has some characteristics resembling them, like the folded ear and more fur on the neck. I have nothing against Jean Luc, but the point is, he appeared in only one episode and hasn't been seen since. I think the odds of Jean Luc being the father of that pup are low since he doesn't resemble them much. I also think it was intentionally done to leave this matter so ambiguous.

@@twist_ending7545 well most mix breeds dont look like the breeds theyre mixed with. Tge coloring is off and bluey doesnt have anywhite spots on her, but mackenzie does, he also has a bent ears. It definately doesnt look half lab tho. But i will say tge darker areas do match jon luc a but. But yeah we may never know 😊
