(@timijai) Remove the valve inside the Main Vavle and Order One From Uk For 8.98 Plus Shipping Plus Taxes = $ 15.79 Total. I Did Mine now Works Ok. I also Have a Junior Pyropen Did The same Repairs Works Great.

my car had radiator problems and we took it in a recently got yet back and found the same soldering gun in the back floor in the box with iron for it and that tip

DJAMO668 you could have been decent and took it back to the repair shop. Unless they screwed you for the repair, of course.

Butane shouldn't leave any mark.. You are using low quality butane wich is full of contaminants that's why the mark, the problem is that your expensive soldering iron will be clogged up pretty soon and thats why you are already having problems with the ignition system, the contacts that generate the spark are already coated with contaminants.

I use Weller butane and my pyropen is shit. Produces a long yellow flame instead of the hot blue. Wellers after sale service is also total shit

They’re crap. My pyropen worked great for a while, however now whenever I light up it billows a large cool yellow flame instead of the required hot blue flame. Weller are pretty much impossible to contact for technical support and nobody else seems to know anything about repairing them. Too expensive to be a disposable item, would never buy another one.
