    They didn't mention that one of the locomotives used on that train, 4001, is also preserved and has restored to working order

    @@granttaylor7392 I am corrected.Has there been any consideration to obtain 4002, owned by a mining company, which would enable double 40s again?I suspect that it would still have its original engine.

    they could reuse it for king charles now he is king in a tour of australia again

    Good idea ruse it when King Charles visits Australia uses that carriage and 3801 pulls the carriage.
