What amazes me is the Dillard’s at Panama City Mall which used to be a mall is still a full line one story location and yet the Pier Park Dillard’s is a lot busier than that location so therefore the Atlanta area Dillard’s are all still full line locations including Arbor Place, and all the other Georgia area Dillard’s same thing, Dillard’s is like how Rich’s used to operate based out of Georgia pick certain locations for clearance centers, because Macy’s on the other hand usually closes the location down or does what Belks does with there stores moves the children, women’s, kids, or home departments to another anchor store, but the only difference with Dillard’s vs Macy’s is, not all Dillard’s sell furniture unlike Mall of Louisiana for an example, where Macy’s does in certain locations depending on the volume of the store, but luckily for Dillard’s Escandelv atleast they have more time to survive similar to Von Maur and Boscovs/Belks does for an example, where JCPenney’s on the other hand is going away like Sears, even though certain locations did replace the elevators or escalators overtime, but even that’s still unfortunately not enough to keep them for going under, even Macy’s is still struggling I loathe them ever since they took over Rich’s and Burdine’s they destroyed what made those stores great, because even the elevators and escalators have seen better days except for Arbor Place, North Point Mall, and Mall of Georgia/Mall at Stonecrest for an example still maintaining there elevators and escalators in those locations but for an example Town Center at Cobb Macy’s the Otis series 1 elevator is maintained okay, but could be better, the escalators are still decent, but Cumberland Mall Macy’s has luckily redone the Westinghouse elevator but it’s still not in the best shape, the escalators are still decent, but mostly the Macy’s at former North Dekalb, South Dekalb, Greenbriar is what I was referring to on better day locations, but anyways well hopefully Dillard’s will stay relevant for awhile. 👍🏻

How dare they

Thanks for the dedication. What does Dillard’s do with their stores after the clearance centers? After they converted the old Tri County one into a clearance center, they closed that one. The same thing may happen to this one. After that, they’ll open a new store elsewhere in the area.

Thanks for the dedication! I really wish these things operated they would definitely be my favorite escalators & elevator in this mall.

@@mariokart8715 closest one to me is 50-70 minutes away from me. It has single file Montgomery escalators & a Montgomery elevator with Epco Circleline

@@mariokart8715 both are false terms. The escalators have the “IIIMontgomery” logo & the elevator has the “Montgomery Dependable Elevator” logo.

Were They Installed In 1992 And Shut Down In 2015 When The Store Became A Clearance Center

They did the same thing at Tri County Mall before they moved to Liberty Center.
