To Mkhululi Nxumalo. The Catholic church follows the early church in having the bible and the tradition. St Paul talks about this. Not everything went into the bible and Jesus told us that the holy spirit would come and reveal more things to us. So the church had the tradition which is from the holy spirit.

Besides it's the quality of your study of the Bible that matters, not how long you read it. Don't get me wrong. You should also study the word day and night (Joshua 1).

In the Bible Jesus said not to call any one father because their is only one father in heaven he was talking to the scrbes and pharises so when the pope is being called father he should not be using this title and he wears a pagon cross on around is neck it's classed as a idol the pope is a show man but not a man of God because Jesus was humble and he did not wear fancy clothes with a cross on this people want to look rigeous but their not
I really question his integrity. First, my cute little Church (St. Dororthy's in Wilmington, MA) loses it's adorable and comforting marble and gold adornments and turns into what looks like satans den. Now, he is allowing married Priests, he is changing the prayers and music, and has purchased the Crystal Cathedral. It seems like my namesake Religion is being changed from the original ecclesiastical Religion to secular. The Pope's been busy! Therefore, I have unsubscribed from my Catholic channels and will no long follow the Catholic Religion. I guess they didn't feel like they needed me, anymore.

@@wayupduk I can't have an opinion? First, if I look back over the years, what has the Church done for me? It doesn't help me with my children. It doesn't help me get a husband. it doesn't help me with a job. What has any Church done for anyone, nowadays? Nothing. It just sits back, lets you go to them to pay homage to Jesus and they collect the money. I can pay homage to Jesus from home, and, for free. Also, I don't like that the new Pope is very unhealthy. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a double. He's always greasy. Does he even shower? You can barely understand him in whatever language he is speaking in, talk about a mumbler. And, he is very decorative, and I don't mean of his person -- talk about a waste of money. I loved my Church when I was growing up. I went every week for over 12 years, made my First Communion and my Confirmation, and with this new administration, they have ruined it.

@@michaelanderson4849 Because I attended Roman Catholic Church from the time I was 5 until I was 17 1/2. And, made my First Communion, and was Confirmed. And, I attended CCD for 5 years. They could have done more for me.

Or with married priests converting to the catholic church? The liturgy is always changing. Why is that a problem? Especially since you left the church half a century ago.
