Hello, have you tried both bike ? I have a 301RR montesa and asking myself, buying a xtrainer or equipment for my 301.. I have a big gap beetwen 3 and 4 gear. And 301 feels realy loud when you accelerate.. Susension on the 301 feels like not adapted for this too...

The 4ride has a nice gearing. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are close. The fith is longer. Also the suspension is higher than the 301. I like this bike. Its a climber. The Xtrainer is more enduro than the 4ride and a lot higher on the seat.
