He witnessed death,explosions he was beaten up he had to travel across a ocean. He was almost killed from gas, he almost starved and got shot. Very good life😊

This.. I think I can relate on a fact that this is probably like how Private Wotjek (a bear) literally made it as a soldier.

He joined the 'doughboys', those Young-men who were trained to be sent to Europe for battle against Imperial German-Army. He was then proceeded to be called as 'the mascot of Yankee division' to pass the Army. He then participated to 17 different battles and 4 campaigns and even was injured when the Germans stormed their position in the trenches, just fell short after they were bombarded by mortars and artilleries. He even saved a whole French village and his whole Platoon, along with their French-counterparts when he 'told' them that the Germans launched their not-so-secret weapon: something that would allow a brutal death for the soldiers of the Entente-forces, the Mustard Gas. He was then promoted to the rank of Sergeant by Allied Supreme General J.G. Pershing, and was even awarded the purple heart and other civilian and non-militarized awards such as that of the event in 1921 (i can't recall😅). He even met the future Major Allied Gen. with the catchphrase "Guts and Glory!" George Patton when he was still a Cpl.
