I wish I could give 1000 likes. U saved my life. If u are asked to write about the study and variations, is it the same as what u have explained?

It’s unlikely that you’ll have to write about both in the same question. The question would probably be phrased something like “outline Milgram’s research into obedience”. Then you can decide what you talk about. Alternatively, they would specify that they want you to talk specifically about the variations, in which case you wouldn’t need to talk about the original research.

Hey, thanks for this video. So when given 'outline' questions, we quite literally just have to explain the study with no evaluation points?

Usually outlining a study you have 6 marks to explain the procedure, the findings and the conclusions from the research

I heard we will only get asked to outline and evaluate Milgrims situational variables, agentic shift and legitimate authority ad authoritarian personality? will we get asked outline and evaluate Milgrim's procedure for AQA 16 marks???

Hi, for a 6 mark question do we just outline the procedure and findings or do we also need to include evaluation points?

Well it depends on the question. If the question just says outline or describe, then you just outline the procedure, findings and any conclusions. If the question says outline and evaluate, or discuss then you include evaluation points.

how many evaluation points should we typically include for a 6 marker? would 2 be enough? @@smcartledge2723

In a 6 mark outline question you don’t need any evaluation points. 6 mark outline and evaluate/discuss questions are quite rare. To the point where I can’t even remember the last time one came up. However, If one did come up, 1 evaluation point, with a short counterpoint would be plenty.

hello sir, Firstly thanks for the video, can we talk write a PEEL combining beta bias and culture bias and the fact that milgrams research lacks generalisabilty ? because only male ppts so beta bias as ignores differences between gender because research shows that women are more likely to obey, also culture bias because america is individualistic and so cuollectivist cultures will be more obedient?

It is always good to have a mix of strengths and limitations. Especially for essays that have a discuss element.
