2 things I got from listening to this: 1. If you are depressed or poor, never loose hope to what you can achieve. 2. Trust your intuition. When things feel off, they are not in alignment for you.

but what if I have to endure sth that I already feel is a bit off but have to and somehow want to finish it yet?! : I am in my final teaching practice year in Germany to be a secondary teacher and feel that I love pedagogical work but it was never and is not my dream to be a secondary teacher my whole life. In a language school for asults , maybe even abroad, or elementary yes but not in secondary schools and especially not in Germany. But I studied it 6 years and I love my subjects and love pedagogy but the German school system is just so off in many ways. Worked in a kindergarden in a gap year after my thesis in my hometown and everything felt so right. Now I am still until July next year in a town I never wanted to live, teaching in a school I never would have applied voluntarily - the state sends you somewhere for this last year - and am examined every 2 weeks, working 50-60 hourst just to have the final official paper to be a teacher by state. But I am in the wrong place and it feels not right. Still I would like to finish it now and then go back to working in a kindergarden and live in my hometown again where my ❤ is. just wonder somehow if I should skip at the moment because it feels so against myself and my inner belief and truth.

@@amberwatson7101 You are more of an elaborate analytical thinker. It's more attuned to secondary schools than elementary. Those that teach kindergarten have simpler minds. You need to ask yourself where you will fit the best, not necessarily where you want to be. (My mom taught 1st and 2nd grade for most of her 33 year career. She got her Masters in elementary education. She just worked better with kids rather than secondary students.) I would recommend just trying it, and see how things work out. You can always change your direction if things don't work out, or you want a change.

Thank you for sharing!❤ I admire your courage. I think it is important for successful people to share their journey. Their are going to be challenges. Your journey exemplifies the importance of persistence, being flexible, open to learning new things, reevaluating your vision and goals. You are not going to have it all figured out in the beginning. It is a journey not a destination. It will always be changing. Very inspirational. Successful people are human. I learned what traits were needed to be successful.😊 P.S. Humor. Love that. It gets you through life.

These meditations are perfect. kzread.infoUgkxR50id-GIBIDuBvuBGenhx1O5zKIfCVNK him has a gentle, warm, pleasant voice (with a slight Scots accent). The words are simple and clear. The timing is perfect... just as you start to find your mind wandering, he says and if you find that your mind is wandering... . There is no background music and no noise in the background, only his peaceful and engaging voice. The length of the meditations (about 1/2 hour each) works well for me. I find that I tire of some meditations after frequent repetition, but that hasn't happened with this one. The metta lovingkindness meditation always feels right. Some meditation CDs I have tried have not felt right. The voice seemed hurried, or sounded tense; the background music seemed intrusive, or there were noises that interfered with concentration. This is just perfect as an introduction for new meditators, and it's also a meditation that I return to again and again. I'd give this more than five stars if that were an option. Even my students, who are not ordinarily very receptive to meditation, relax when they hear this one!
