It's so funny to hear you say about yarn color - they're a baby, they won't care! My mother used leftover yarns to knit baby blankets for my kids, nieces & nephews & the color combos were unbelievable! They are now in their late thirties, early forties & I'd say - Ma, what's with the colors & she would say, they're babies, they won't care! 💜. Thank you for bringing back those memories!

Haha 😂 it’s my philosophy! I also just make them crib size so they won’t be used forever but even if they keep them and ask me later I’d remind them they liked it fine as a baby 🤣

Thank you so much! Yeah it's a bummer but I'm much pickier now with who I trust for samples and also I'm prioritizing me this year so maybe I won't sample knit to make my life simpler haha
71! Items! That is absolutely incredible Meghan! I can’t wait to see what you knit up this year (with friends and test knits) Also the Gaon Aran is top down seamless please test knit it with usssss

I know someone else said and that is such amazing news when is the test?? Hahahaha
Goodness knows I used to avoid colour work but got into graphgans with crochet then converted a wooven Krogbragd pattern to knit and Portuguese knitting with 3 colours was a breeze. I was able to manage the tension issues. Thank you for this post.

Got a lot of knitting done while watching your knit parade. 71 items! WOW! Even though I do watch your regular podcast it was really interesting to hear some of the additional feedback now that you have worn some of them. As it has not been that cold here in the PNW this winter I find I am not wearing my warmer knits yet. I am looking, forward to watching your knitting journey this year too.

Knit parade - that’s what it felt like! Agreed but our downstairs where my office is is cold so I’ve still been wearing my warmer ones a bit this winter. I’m glad it was still fun to watch and thanks for tuning in!
I think the Gaon Aran pattern will be top-down and seamless whereas the fingering version is bottom up and seamed!
