I know this is way too over complicated for a comic sketch, but my take on it is that Kayden doesn't actually care about what his mom says, but he resents Jaiden's ability to read exactly what his favourite drink is. Basically, he feels threatened by Jaiden's clairvoyancy and that's the only way he can retaliate.

I love how they juggle between professionalism and 'childish-ness' at just the right moments. It accurately crafts the strange and unconventional environment of a kindergartener, while still giving older viewers a good impression of what's happening.

Maggie Gaunt Matt is me when I was in grades 2-4. I always snuck in some form of candy in my lunch. honestly I'm in the 5th grade, and I don't have a ton of sugar anymore. I still have a lot tho.
