Most salesmen in automobile dealerships are not well informed persons. But, they generally misinform their customers. It is due to their ignorance about the product they are dealing but they want to project themselves as technical experts too in a bid to convince their customers to buying their products. Either the automobile dealerships must employ at least diploma holders in automobile engineering or else the salesmen in the showrooms must equip themselves with the basic knowledge of automobiles. Once someone has taken it as a profession, they must educate themselves at least on the basics of automobiles to gain professionalism. Otherwise, the salesmen's lack of efforts to improve their knowledge is their lack of commitment to their professionalism. I would blame only the dealerships for not sending their sales staff for basic their trainings in their respective companies' factories. After their basic training is over, the sales staff must be sent for refresher courses as & when their manufacturer develops any design concepts in their new models.

(இலங்கையில் ஜப்பானிய Yamaha bikes அதிகளவு பிரபலமானவை) பின்னர் எனக்கு தெரிந்த மெக்கானிக்கிடம் விசாரித்தபோது sales person சொல்லிய பொய் எனக்கு தெரியவந்தது.. அதனால் பிடித்து எடுக்க போன பைக்கை எடுக்காமல் pulsar ஐ எடுக்க வேண்டியதாகிவிட்டது. சொல்வது பொய் என்று தெரிந்தபின் எப்படி அவர்களையோ அவர்களின் பிராண்ட்டையோ எப்படி நம்ப முடியும்...

Even it was happening in Bike showroom also...When I bought my Apache 180 in 2019 I just went to showroom to get Quotation...But the sales rep stunned me by giving a reply that this model has stopped... Literally i was shocked but I have seen that bike in roads and it was in their Official website comes along with the brochure...but the sales rep was so confident with his Reply🙂

We had Rapid (Diesel 2016), due to a total loss claim at insurance we again bought the BS4 Rapid (Diesel) at 2020, since we already used this vehicle we haven't taken test drive and went with the sales person point as just minor change in the engine power.. But after taking delivery and using it for the 1st time realized that the turbo charger present in the previous model is missing.. Which made us felt bad and now we were missing the fun to drive..

I did my part too. I’ve tagged Anand Mahindra and all Mahindra officials Id’s in twitter with this video link and the screen shot of that particular showroom in google maps and asked to educate their salesperson. U keep up ur work.. Thank me later

Bro in bolero neo it is a VGT. But the same engine which was used in TUV 300 mHawk 80 used a 2 stage turbocharger. So, the sales person might got confused (or not updated) as it is the same engine. I am not defending the sales person here. As u have mentioned, it is not possible for a 2 stage turbo charger at this price point. Mahindra have already launched TUV 300 at the same price point with two stage turbo charger.

Fuel efficiency at Higher speed.. driving 5 gears car @100 kmph @5th gear run at more rpms then driving 6 gears car @100kmph @6th gear..
