A journey to the Middle Ages - Flor da Rosa Monastery - 4K Ultra-HD

Video about the Flor da Rosa Monastery, in the municipality of Crato. It was founded by initiative of the Hospitaller Prior Álvaro Gonçalves Pereira, father of the Constable Nuno Álvares Pereira, who participated in the Battle of Río Salado and that was buried in this temple.
Its construction occurred in various phases, spanning between the 14th to the 16th century. It was, simultaneously, a palace, a church, and a monastic space, making it a unique building in the context of the Middle Ages in the Iberian Peninsula.
It’s classified as a National Monument since 1910.
