The priests murdered John the Baptist's father Zachariah. John did not baptize in the Jordan river. He baptized beyond the Jordan in Bethabara. It was not in the muddy water of Jordan. There were springs NE of Jerusalem he also baptized.

There is no "John the Baptist" anywhere in the fragments from the Qumran caves. It's getting tedious. People just cannot remove their Jesus glasses; they see him everywhere.
