Id argue the difference between Joe and Kyle's offense is greater than the difference between their defense

You born and raised in Australia? Y are you interested in the wolves? JC lol cuz last year was maybe our best year other then 20 yrs ago for one season. Were a dumpster fire of an organization 93% of our whole existence! 😂😢

Why would you be okay taking a step backward when clearly the franchise is all in on a championship. You don’t pay Rudy that money to not try and win

I believe he meant step back record wise if it meant some of the young guys got experience playing earlier in the season. But because of the experience by the time the playoffs came around some of the younger guys can contribute more. He didn’t mean take a step back overall. Half step back in regular season but half step forward in the playoffs

yeah just to double down, you’re missing his point. He’s okay with a half step back in terms of regular season record, if that means vets like mike conley get more rest and the young guys get more chances to play and develop. This outcome would likely give the t-wolves their best chance to win the LOB

im just saying, you cant win a championship in the regular season. and if sacrificing a couple regular season games gives you more rested playoff rotation players, and added experience for the young guys. Has nothing to do with the playoffs 7-8 man rotations. He was also making the point as a year or two from now, all of a sudden the players you refused to play need to step up when the bench starts moving on for one reason or another, you have already planned ahead with said experience.

@@stockey9183the problem with this take is a step back in our record could put us in a play in spot. The West is to deep. Spurs and Memphis will be in the mix this year. Rockets were playing better at the end of the year and the Kings/Pels both improved. We don’t want to make things harder then they need to be and can’t afford to waste legs/mins in a play in game.

@@dajuice7030so youd rather they waste them playing games vs the pistons in december? We're 100% playing those games and id rather limit some of the veterans for those games that they're guranteed to play than have them all try to play 82 to possibly avoid the play-in

What Kyle doesn’t realize is a half step back in the west is a play in team. We would drop to 7th with how packed the west is. Kyle was a -36 total in the playoffs this year and was only plus in 4 of the 16 games.

Wolves were top 5 in true shooting/efg% most of the year last year. Our bigger problem was turnover %. That is the biggest reason for our 17th ranked offense. Not having a secondary playmaker to create his shot behind ant hurt us a little last year. We threw ant a lot of grenades late in the shot clock which led to turnovers. Shooting will help with that, but dillingham will provide playmaking too which is a bigger thing for us imo.

The cap reality limits the moves the team can make. Moves will be on the margins. This is one of the moves they could make.

My second comment here, If PJ Dozier makes it to the regular season on the roster. And he stays healthy. He could be just as awesome of a minimum value as Joe Ingles IMO

TSJ will be ahead of Dillingham in the pecking order....in year 1. You may not like it, but they WILL try to keep that top defensive spot. TSJ at 6'6" can give you more offense, while not being a total defensive liability. Imo TSJ will end up being one of the best late pick values we will ever get. And by playoff time, TSJ will be the 2nd guy off the bench, I think he is that good!!!

Love you Kyle, however there will be no stepping back. The competitive 7 guys will not allow this. The great thing about a winning organization & culture you don’t have to play guys because like the Wolves used to be, in a losing culture. This goes back to the whole Rudy trade. To pull up young guys into winning like Ant, Jayden, Naz. Like wise with Rob & TJ

Kevin Love /OJ Mayo trade seemed terrible and didnt make sense. Wolves only good player at the time played the same pisition, Al Jefferson, OJ was thought to be a cant miss scoring guard with Muscle. But K-Love was a monster for the Wolves. Too bad they miffed on every other lottery pick while he was here.

Useless is a strong word for a guy who shot over 400 from 3 with 3 assists over minimum min. He comes on ready to shoot and and I.q and passing ability that will really help rob coming off of pin downs and screens. Defense may lack but he’s 6’9 and Will be at the 4 so it should be fine especially since him and naz are gonna stretch the bell out of the D on the other end
